Isabel's POV:
"I'm going out! Be back in an hour or two!" I call out to mum who's watching TV with Sal. "With who?" Mum calls out, "with aunt Cara she's taking me to get my nails done!" I yell back. I'm literally so excited for this I've been waiting literally forever- wait I'm rambling again...stop it Isabel. "Okay! Be back for dinner!" Mum yelled, before I walked out.
A few hours later I arrived home to the smell of pizza coming from the kitchen. I hear Sal complaining about who knows what, probably because he can't go out because it's "too late" when it's only 6pm. Mum and dad have always been overprotective about this 'going out with friends' stuff. Something about when they were younger but they won't tell us anything.
Dinner was quieter than usual. I quickly finished, then I rinsed off my plate rushing upstairs to my room to get my last-minute homework done. After my homework I can hear my phone getting like one million messages a second- okay maybe that was an exaggeration, but whatever. I pick up my phone to see the group (me, James, Alexia, Catherine, Jane and Bella) spamming.
Bella: Isabel didn't you hear???!!!
Alexia: ISABEL PICK UP THE PHONE!!!
Isabel: what's going on?? Who died?!!
Alexia: YOU DIDN'T TELL US YOUR PARENTS HAD A PODCAST!!!
Isabel: what?? No they don't?

Isabel: uh...okay I'll just it out byeee!

I pull out my laptop, searching for the website Alexia told me about. It's real?! I click onto the link while putting on my headphones, I click on the first episode. It's something about the 'Andie Bell case' isn't that Lucas's aunt?
I'm about halfway through the second episode, when my door opens. I slam my laptop shut looking up to see Sal. "What were you doing?" He questioned, "oh uh...n-nothing" I quickly said knowing how suspicious I sound. "Sure..." Sal said obviously not believing me. "Ugh fine I'll show you" I mumble rolling my eyes. Sal smiles, running over sitting beside me and looking at the screen. "Uh...isn't that our parents?"
