The Dark Princeling paced his war room as he watched the scene playing out before him, his most trusted advisors and those he called friends watching his every move in apprehensive awareness.
To state he was angry would be a complete understatement....He was absolutely enraged, bordering on the verge of complete crazed if the cursed muttering was an indication to go by.
Orella, the UnderRealm Seer, was the first brave soul to speak the thoughts that the entire collective room was thinking.
"Noëlani and Wolfe warned you that something like this might happen" The seer said softly "I even foreshadowed that this will happen when she arrived at the Academy all those months ago."
The Dark Prince, for the first time in his long life, snapped at his seer and half-sister.
"Hearing about something and witnessing it for your own eyes is two very fucking different things Orella Innid" he snarled "That creature is dragging your Queen, my Mate down a fucking hill to Natures know where and I can't do a single fucking thing about it until the Summer Solstice begins and that stupid fucking dome weakens."
"Helios," The Seer blinked at her King and brother, taking a small step backwards "This is what the Fates..."
"Fuck the Fates" The Dark Prince snarled, banging his fist on the table in front of him and making all of his friends jumped back in surprise, their faces betraying their complete and utter shock at his unadulterated outburst "They're Mates aren't the ones being dragged down the ravine by their dead father's Wolf."
Everyone in the room sucked in a sharp breath, seemingly flabbergasted at the revelation.
Well everyone except the Seer seemed shocked at the news the Dark Prince just revealed.
"That creature is Wolfe Lupine?" The Prince's closest friend asked "How do you know? And how is that possible? He's been dead for nineteen years."
"How do you think?" The Prince stated, his tone defeated "Eiňach resurrected his project the moment he convinced the council to cast us aside."
"How?" The Seer's Mate reared his head back in shock "He would have to access to all four seasons..."
"His sons each married a princess from the Summer and Spring Realm" The Dark Prince stated "I have no doubt in my mind that they're under his spell too, freely giving away their powers to his cause without even realizing."
"But Noëlani's dead" Someone said "Besides her father, there's no one left in the WinterLands and I doubt that he'd willingly give more of his power away to Eiňach, not when he already gives so much to the Equinox already."
"Noëlani's gone but Näs' bastard child isn't" The Prince dropped yet another explosive revelation "It seems like she's the reason My Queen was found in the first place."
"How?"
The Dark Prince once again turned his attention to the scene before him, his wounded Queen being dragged across the woodlands floors by her deceased father just mere feet above where he currently stood, her agony mirroring his own as if they were already in perfect sync with each other like Mates tended to be, despite only meeting once in their dreams.
"The Bastard Fox Queen used the Lupine Heir to hunt down his own flesh and blood" The Dark Prince whispered "Because he was the only one in the entire realms who could find her..."
"That's why I could suddenly see her in my visions" The Seer blanched "And that's why they've kept him alive so long."
"Wolfe, the human, died nineteen years ago" The Prince said "But his Wolf, the Animal part of him, refused to die until it was reunited with his Pup again."
