~Adaya~

Growing up, I've never given a fuck about other people, nor did they give in mine. whether it is about their business, emotions, feelings, health, life or anything else. What can I do? I was raised this way.

Gabriel Lawris, the CEO of world's famous and the country's biggest real estate company TTS. And I here, Adaya Lawris, am his only child. But we are father-daughter mainly by name. We happen to meet once or twice a month by accident. He never interfered in my life, nor did he intend to. Same goes for my mother.

I am the sole heir and the next CEO of TTS, and to my every mini-step and every mini-breathe, I was reminded that. I was expected to buy the most expensive items from the most expensive malls, wear the most expensive cloths, eat the mist fanciest dish at the most expensive restaurant, read at the most expensive elite private institutions, grade beyond expectations, be-friends with the richest famous people and date the richest and famous people... I did all of those. All the things they expect from me, from the daughter of one of the richest man and the next richest CEO.

Everything I did, outside of my house, were recorded by the media and all of those were shown to people. Because TTS also plays a major role in the politics of the country as it has a major exploit in country's finance. So, based on how I acted, I was the rich, spoiled, immature, genius, good-for-nothing, golden-spooned, inconsiderate daughter of Gabriel Lawris.

I have never let anyone control the way of my life. But, as a father, dad often tried to indirectly control my life by hiring bodyguards, giving the excuses of me being the next heir and him being a worried father. And as I was a public figure and an out-going girl, the risks of me at the front page of a newspaper as well as me being in danger like kidnapped were surprising.

Anyway, back to the topic, as I was saying about bodyguards, I have shown dad I don't need one by driving 39 of them away(By driving 30 of them to the nuts until they begged my dad to fire them). But, he is persistent, and so he went for number 31 and a 31 years old man barged into my house yesterday saying he is my new bodyguard, showing me the official deal papers that they both signed.

So, I thought why not repeat the history again and drive number 31 away like I did to his 30 ancestors. So, the mission is, "Driving 31 to nuts/ Making him regret his choice to sign".

And so, I decided to go with the classics. Do you know what is one the many things girls love and boys hate? Extensive shopping!

"How many things do you need?" he asked in the most irritated tone as we was struggling to grip all the shopping bags in his two hands. It's not like I intentionally asked the staffs to give me no-laced bags.

"Tired already?" I asked with a smirk.

But no matter what I say, Adrian Black has the most cold, stone-faced, robotic expression I have ever seen. But despite his stone-face, he is also the most handsome, knee-weakening hot appearance, masculine figure I have ever seen and with his broad shoulders and 6.4 feet height, he looked even more manly. And don't get me started with his perfectly shaped face and accurate black hair which goes too well with his body.

"A soldier is never tired," he replied with his cold voice. Adrian used to be in the army and was the most renowned sniper before he quit two years ago.

"Correction, you are no longer a soldier but a paid bodyguard."

"That doesn't mean the soldier in my soul died. A bodyguard can also be referred to a soldier," he replied in his dark raspy voice.

And truly, the soldier did not die. Because from the moment we met we the very passing second, he is so on-guard as if someone will pop up with a gun or a bomb will blast at any moment. It's like his every breath, every movement is calculated. He never talked a single letter out of business or necessary. But no worry boy, the show is only getting started.
