Mike + Tangle & Whisper: "A Sonic IDW Reimagining Miniseries"

Part-3: "The Ambush"

*Location: "Outside of a Forgotten Eggman-Empire Bunker", Time: "6pm"*

"Whisper on a high-hill near the bunker, is scanning the area for any traps near by...but no traps outside, she does spot where Aiya is, but can't scan for any traps inside. Mike calmly/quietly sits next to Whisper on her left side, Whisper turns to Mike."

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'I've spotted where Aiya is.'-(As she points to one of the windows, Mike breathes a sigh of relief-)

(Tangle): *While singing*: "Sneak-Sneak-Sneak-Sneak-Sneak!"-(As she tip-toes to Mike & Whisper, while Mike gets a bit jump-scared, Whisper sighs and facepalms onto the grass as she's slightly annoyed)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'Stop it.'-(As she removes her mask and turns to Tangle, she asks Tangle worriedly and kindly)

(Tangle): "Sorry."-(Apologises embarrassingly, but cheerfully. Mike then turns to Whisper)

(Mike the Wolf): "Any sigh of any traps Whisper?"-(Curious on if Whisper manage to find any traps)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'No activity outside. Can't scan inside.'-(Mike & Tangle are kind of concerned)

(Tangle): "So...that's good, right? We're clear to go in there?"-(Curious if it's safe to go inside in this case)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'We're walking into Mimic's trap blind. That's dangerous.'-(Mike can't help but believe that Whisper may be right on this one)

(Tangle): "Pfft! He INVITED us here. Yeah, he knows we're coming, but we know we've got him backed into a corner."-(Confident that they cornered Mimic...)

(Mike the Wolf): "Ummm, more like a corner HE has control over."-(Whisper sadly nods in agreement)

(Tangle): "Oh..."-(Her confidence turns to concerned)-"Then would it be better to back-off then? Try to find him another time?"-(Whisper shakes her head)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'No, now or never. Have to risk it.'-(Mike nods and chimes in)

(Mike the Wolf): "Plus, Mimic has Aiya, we can't leave her. We need to save her..."-(Feeling more concerned about Aiya, Whisper places her hand on Mike's shoulder as Mike turns to Whisper)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'Don't worry, we'll get her back.'-(Mike smiles meekly, Tangle chimes)

(Tangle): "So we'll just be careful."-(Winks and gives a thumbs up, though Whisper is still concerned that something could go wrong. Mike notices and chimes in)

(Mike the Wolf): "Say, Whisper. You seem concerned about this, like something might go wrong..."-(Whisper slightly turns to Mike meekly)-"I mean, you seem to know how Mimic operates. And he seemed to think you were something called a Diamond-Cutter. Did, you 2 use to be friends or something?"-(A little concerned for Whisper who slightly hesitates to answer at first, until she response)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: '...Yes, we use to be...'-(As she puts on her mask, Mike then places his hand on Whisper's shoulder)

(Mike the Wolf): "...What did he do to you?"-(Whisper is secretly hiding something-*Emotionally* from Mike. Tangle notices and chimes in)

(Tangle): "Guessing it's a touchy subject, Whisper? I understand. Still, anything we should know before going in there?"-(Asks Whisper on what they should know about Mimic before heading into the bunker, Whisper uses it to dodge Mike's question)

(Whisper): *Whispers*: 'He's dangerous, manipulative, be on guard.'-(Mike puts Whisper's secret about her past a side for now)

(Tangle): "Alrighty."-
(Mike the Wolf): "You got it."-(The 2 nod as the trio sneak their way in)
