"So class! I have a surprise for y'all !!" Miss jenise said with a big grin. But as soon as she said that everyone started to scream no.
I honestly didn't know what was happening. Nor did I go along with others because I was already late for class.
"Miss , if its a test, AGAIN , then no I don't need it" Chris looked at miss jenise Right into the eyes but soon started begging with others.
"Please miss jenise! No! Nonono!" Everyone was screaming except me , who was sitting there not knowing what to do. Suddenly miss jenise looked at me .
"Why are you all so dramatic? Look at noah! He is sitting here waiting for the test to start!"
I looked at miss jenise, she looked at me , i pointed at myself making sure she was talking about me. Suddenly all the students were staring at me including chris. I knew what that look meant. It meant "dude seriously?!"
I quickly shouted "miss no! That's not what I meant by just sitting!"
Thats how we all ended up starting the test. And right now at middle of the test.
Someone suddenly started calling me from back . I was sitting in the front bench. I was about to move my neck to see who was calling me. Thats when I noticed miss jenise was looking at me. Not looking at me , though it looked like he was looking right onto my goddamn soul. Or throwing dagger at me. I noticed Chris by side of my eyes. He was motioned me to not look back.
So I ended up not looking back. Neither looking anywhere else. So here's is the thing, i didn't need help. Because I may not have had many privileges last year's but I was intelligent enough. That was also something my father used to say also.
The test ended. Chris and I stepped out of the class. Chris started talking about test. Denise, Eric's girlfriend walked by me. She was glaring at me. If it was possible for glares to make a hole , I'm sure I would have lots of them by now. why is she even looking at me like that? I thought to myself.

After attending three long classes me and Chris finally met at the cafeteria. Same seat as yesterday.
Australia's weather feels kinda weird to me. It suddenly gets cloudy then again suddenly gets sunny. I wish I could just go back to japan and live there.
"Hey noah, do you think we should just write our names in this table" Chris chuckled.
"And why do you think we should do that?" I smiled back.
"I mean we sit here all the time , so might as well name it as ours"
We both were chatting and laughing about silly things when suddenly a nerdy looking girl with long hair and thick Glasses came up to us. She came next to us so quiet that we didn't even notice she was there.
"Hey Chris." She suddenly spoke leaving us both scared out of our soul.
"Fuck! For goodness sake what the fuck are you doing Gabby??! I told you to not do that! You scared the shit out of me..."
Chris screamed on top of his lung. I was scared myself but seeing Chris like that a little laugh forcefully left my body. The girl, whose name I assume is Gabby seemed so sorry after seeing Chris like that.
"Sorry! I won't do that next time."
"Well good! But why are you here anyway? Do you need something?" Chris asked finally getting back to normal.
"Some guy is calling you and noah to the old school ground." Gabby fiddled with her finger and said.
"Who" Chris and I said at the same time.
"I don't know him. But he said it was emergency. I have to go now. I have a project to work on. Bye" she left quickly right after finishing her sentence.
"Oh well that's weird" I was sitting surprised.
Chris seemed to think about something and finally spoke. "Yea it is weird. Specially because if they need me it's because I am school council's vice secretary then why do they need you?"
"I don't know. So you gonna go check it out or just stay here?"
"Let's just go, there's nothing else I can do. It can be something important."
Chris got up from his seat. I stood up with him. And started following him to the said place by the girl .
I suddenly remembered something that someone said to me once 5 or 6 years ago "when something doesn't start well it also won't end well"
