She pulled the test from behind her back, holding it out to him. "I'm pregnant."

For a moment, Stefan just stared at the test, his expression unreadable. Then a slow, joyous smile spread across his face. "We're going to have a baby?"

Liv nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "Yes, we are."

Stefan crossed the space between them in two quick strides, wrapping her in a tight embrace. "This is incredible, Liv. I'm so happy."

Tears of joy streamed down Liv's face as she hugged him back. "Me too. I can't believe it."

"And you're going to be an amazing father," she said, squeezing his hand.

As the months passed, Liv and Stefan embraced the challenges and joys of impending parenthood. They attended prenatal classes, read parenting books and spent countless hours daydreaming about their future with their baby.

One sunny afternoon, Liv was in the nursery, arranging tiny clothes and toys, when she felt a flutter in her belly. She paused, her hand resting on her stomach and then felt it again—a tiny, unmistakable kick.

"Stefan!" she called out, her voice filled with excitement.

Stefan came rushing in, his eyes wide with concern. "What is it? Are you okay?"

Liv grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly. "Feel this."

They waited for a moment and then Stefan felt the gentle kick.

His face lit up with pure joy. "That's our baby."

Tears of happiness filled Liv's eyes. "Yes, it is."
