Chapter 10

*Your P.O.V*

The next day, I decided to attend school. I didn't want to miss another day of lessons. Before putting on my top, I placed some bandages on the bruise just in case. I mean, if I hit something, it's gonna hurt a lot right? Anyways, my dad decided to send me to school that day because he was scared that something bad would happen if I drove to school on my own.

-at school- (still your P.O.V)

As I walked into class, the first thing I saw was Taehyung snogging my best friend. Well, ex best friend. I gagged at the sight and walked to my seat, to be greeted with a smile from Jungkook.

"Hey!" I greeted.

I sat down and he turned to face me.

"(y/n)-Ah. Is your bruise healed?"

I shook head and sighed. He patted my back, as a sign of reassurance that it will be fine. I nodded at his action when the teacher came in.

While the teacher was teaching, I felt Jungkook place his hand on top of mine. I couldn't help blushing and smiling. I guess he's not that bad huh? People need second chances..

-after school-

I saw Jungkook making his way towards the gates of the school.

"Jungkook-ah!" I called.

He turned and smiled.

"Ne?"

"Can you send me home please? My dad sent me to school this morning so.." I trailed off.

"Sure! Kaja!" he excitedly said as he pulled my wrist to follow him.

"Gomawo oppa!" I thanked as I kissed his cheek.

"Ah, (y/n)?"

"Hmm?"

"Would you like to go out with me this Saturday? If you're free?"

"Sure! I'd love too!"

"Yes! So, I'll text you hmm?"

I nodded before walking out of his car, waving at him before i closed the door behind me.

*Jungkook's P.O.V* (a few days later)

It's finally Friday and I cannot wait for tomorrow! I promised to pick her up at 7 tomorrow night and she sounded pretty excited.

As I was walking out of school, Taehyung stopped me.

"What do you want?" I asked harshly.

"Look, (y/n) is mine alright?"

"She just broke up with you. You mean nothing to her anymore. Besides, you have another girl. She ain't enough?"

"I love both of them. Is that wrong?"

"Of course it is! You can't be going out with two girls at the same time! Don't you know they have feelings too?!" I shouted, causing everyone to look at us.

"Yah! It's my problem if I want to go our with the both of them! Boring and amazing, hm" he shouted.

By the time, many students were surrounding us, watching us. Suddenly, I felt a tight pain on my left cheek. I held it and it hurt. TAEHYUNG JUST PUNCHED ME. I FACE HIM AND PUNCHED HIM BACK. SOON, WE HAD A FIGHT.

PUNCHES WERE THROWN, KICKS WERE FLOWN AND STINGING PAIN COULD BE FELT. SINCE HE WAS BIGGER THAN ME, HE HAD THAT ADVANTAGE. I FELL TO THE FLOOR WITH ANOTHER PUNCH AND HE STARTED KICKING ME CONTINOUSLY.

"taehyung-ah! Stop it!"

I looked to my right and saw (y/n) running over to us. She knelt down beside me and held my face.

"Oppa, are you okay?"

She observed the bruises I had and I got a cut on my bottom lip. She looked up at Taehyung.

"Why Taehyung-ah? He never did anything to you"

"Whatever" he said, as he rolled his eyes and walked off.

She focused on me again and said,

"Let's go"

She helped me up and drove my car back to her place. She told me to sit on the couch while she took the first aid kit. She came back and started pouring alcohol to the cotton and dabbed it on my face, me wincing in pain.

"Ssh. What happened?"

I explained to her everything and she could only nod and sigh.

"You should rest okay? It's okay if tomorrow night is cancelled. You are more important"

I nodded and sat up. I leaned in and she looked down at her hands. I lifted her chin and gave her a soft and passionate kiss.

"Thanks. Saranghae" I said after I broke the kiss.

I took my bag and drove back home.

-at home-

"Jungkookie! What happened?!"

"I got into a fight eomma. It's okay. Gwenchanayo"

"Aigoo.. Who treated you?"

"(y/n)"

She nodded and I headed to my room, not wanting to continue the conversation. Once my head hit the pillow, I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
