I have completed 4 seasons at the collegiate level and have decided to enter the NFL draft. The anticipation was high during the wait to see if I'd get invited to the NFL combine. Finally, the list was released.

"What the hell?" I said to myself. I was the best. How was I not invited. My sisters came in. "Did you get invited?" They asked. I didn't respond and showed them the screen. "It's unfair," they said. My parents came in a few minutes later. They hugged me. No surprise, they were all boys. What made it even worse was that Austin was invited too. I went downstairs later.
My cousin Josh was watching the NFL combine with my other cousin Lance. "Wow look at Riley. That was right on the money," Josh said. "No wonder why they got invited," Lance said. Luckily, my aunt Sarah turned it off. "Let's not talk about how good the quarterbacks at the combine are. Emma didn't get invited." she whispered. I went back upstairs and got a brief glimpse of the crowd. They cheered whenever somebody made a good throw. Why do they get all the fame while I the only female draft prospect hardly gets any? I slumped some more until I went to bed.
