I arrive at Emberwood camp and get sorted into a cabin called psychic Lodge. I'm told that people in this lodge have the same powers as me. So that's should be fun, I guess. My camp counselor, Sarah, introduced me to the rest of the girls.
"Everyone, this is Lydia. Lydia, this is psychic Lodge!"

I wave at some of the girls, and I walk over to a bed. Psychic lodge is a cabin for girls who can mind read, and use their mind to do different things. It is a very comfortable and cozy place, there are five beds that are bunk bed and three that are single beds. I choose a single bed. I put my bags down and then leave, to meet my best friend Emma at the lunch hall. As I leave the cabin, I look around. And notice there's a lot of pine trees. I also noticed there are a lot of different teenagers here, And they all have different powers.

I'm more of the shy type. I'm more of an introvert, and I only talk a lot when I'm around people i'm comfortable with. My mom sent me to this camp so I could "learn a lesson". Whatever that means. My dad left us when I was 3, and my mom is most known for her anger issues. The truth is I'm only here, so I can learn about my powers and then go to this "dream" school. The school that my mom went to. But I don't actually wanna go. I want to go to normal high school. But I don't really have a choice.

Soon I got to the lunch hall, I looked around and trying to find Emma, but it didn't seem like she was here yet. So I just sat at an empty table, waiting for her. The summer camp has a cafeteria style dining hall. The hall is busy with activity as kids eat and talk. As I'm waiting for Emma, I feel a tall figure behind me.
"anyone anyone sitting here?" The tall figure behind me says
"Nope, all yours..."  I say as he gives me a warm smile and sits down across from me.
