Welcome!
I'm Jasmyn Tailor!
I'm so so very excited to present this new story and collection to you!🦋
The Ecclesiastes 3 collection is a short story collection. The stories are short, but you don't miss out on the sweetness, passion, love, joy, and romance that my stories include. I like to think of these stories as pressure cooker style. It doesn't take as long to get to the point, but the flavor is just the same.🤭
The verse, Ecclesiastes 3:1 is the basis of the collection, but each story will include another verse from the section in scripture.
This story's verses are, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to love and a time to hate," v:1, 5, and 8.
As you'll read in the story, there is a time for all such things.
I'm very excited to be telling this story.
Captured is actually a story that was supposed to be written two years ago. It was supposed to be the sequel to Love, Claudia, but God didn't give me the grace to write it, so I've been holding it since then, hoping I'd get to write their story.
I read Love, Claudia last week and wanted to tell Adrian and Diego's story so badly, and the Lord has allowed me to. What a great Lord!🥹🫶🏽
This is a clean Christian interracial age gap story.
I've got a short explanation below, so do enjoy!

Captured tells the story of Adrian McCallister and Diego Granger.
There's so much on my mind regarding this story, but I can't seem to settle on words that summarize what the story entails.
Diego was once a careless selfish brute. Adrian was once a foolish starry-eyed girl.
Their relationship ended and Adrian was left with a shattered heart and lovelorn. Diego was left with a dark shadow of guilt and shame that followed him, reminding him of the heartache he caused a girl so undeserving.
I want this story to end the tall tale that time heals all wounds. It doesn't. It can't.
But God.
Captured, the title was taken from a song that emulates what happened to Adrian and Diego as they found Christ.
"You've captured my heart in ways I didn't know I could be captured," -Captured by Isla Vista Worship
They've healed separately, being captured by the love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy of Christ, freeing Diego from his guilt and shame, and Adrian from the foolishness and heartache.
And through His capturing, they too become captured by the other.
Another song that inspired me years ago, which I'm grateful to finally be able to use now, Maybe This Time by Sarah Geronimo
"Maybe this time, it'll be lovin' they'll find, maybe now they can be more than just friends. Oh, she's back in his life, and it feels so right. Maybe this time, maybe this time, maybe this time, love won't end,"
God has blessed me with vision for this story, so though I don't know much, I do know that it will be sweet, healing, lovely, gentle, and swoony, and there'll be lots of tears.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to share this short story with y'all.
To love one who shattered your heart again is awfully brave, but I believe it is beautiful and worthy if the one has shown himself able to love you well.
The imagery is next and you'll find a song beneath their names. Listen to it if you'd like. You'll gather some information on where the characters are and where they'll be.
God has blessed me indeed and I'm giddy to share this story with you. I'll say it five million more times.
I've been praying for His will to be done and I didn't think a new story would be part of His will, but He is full of surprises. Truly, eyes haven't seen, ears haven't heard all that the Lord has for those who love Him. Amen.
Enjoy💖

Captured
ChickLitA selfish choice tore them apart. A seemingly irreparable tear. And yet, not everything is as it seems. Captured tells the story of a woman and a man who meet again and find that maybe this time love won't end. This is the story of Adrian and Diego...
