Im not heartbroken okay maybe a little

I'm just mad he lied to me and told me he never had a girlfriend before

Well a fucking wife, why didn't he tell me?

It hasn't even been a minute since I left the restaurant

I'm currently standing outside and I feel Gio's presence

I don't dare turn around, he is going to lie to me about it again

I stay silent

He gets in front of me and says "Baby let me explain everything-"

I cut him out and said "You got 2 minutes to explain, I have to go"

He grabs my cheeks and looks at me in my eyes "Baby let me explain, I can't lose you now or never, please"

I take his hands off of my face and head to the car

I cancel the Uber while walking to his car

I go to my side of the car and wait till he unlocks the car

He comes to my side to open the door

Before he does I say " I got it" and I get in the car

He gets in his side of the car and starts and drives off

The car ride is silent, I'm just looking at the window

And then I realize we aren't going to my house

I look at him " Where are we going?"

He looks at me "my house"

"Why" I asked

He stays silent I guess we arrived

"Why couldn't you just explain it to me in my apartment?" I said

He gets out of the car and then opens the door for me

" let me explain inside angel," he said

His house is huge and beautiful but I could give two fucks about his house right now

He opens the door and waits till I enter

So I enter his house, it's big from the inside

But I turn around and fold my hands around my chest " Speak?"

"It's a long story angel sit down please, you're making me nervous," he said

I go sit down on the couch, we are not that far away from each other

He looks at me and says "Okay, umm so I am the Mafia boss, I always wanted to be the Mafia boss when I was little" he says

That's why he left that night, I don't know a lot, but I do know they kill and have a lot of power.

I nod, shocked he is the Mafia boss but I don't say anything and let him speak

It's adding up, the same thing is practically happening to me just that my parents aren't in the mafia and they just want me to have a boyfriend since I never have had one.
