Alternative title: how to acquire new roommates
"Ohhhh yea! Now I understand! Those are really dope cosplays!"
You nodded to yourself, sipping the coffee from your cup. After the whole robbers misunderstanding, you still wanted an explanation on why and how these guys broke into your house. Again, you thought that the alarm wasn't working or that you left a door unlocked, yet when you opened a window, and the ears-shatteting sound of the alarm broke through your apartment, you quickly changed your idea.
"How the fuck did you entered in my apartment" you sighed in exasperation, running an hand down your face. The short blonde girl opened her mouth, mischievous swimming in her purple eyes, but before any words could come out you held one hand in the air, stopping her. "You know what? I'm too tired to make sense of anything at the moment" you rubbed your temple before turning on your heels and storming toward your kitchen.
"I hope you guys like watered down coffee because that's all I can afford"
That lead to having, apparently, six elves in your living room drinking coffee. Since your couch couldn't hold more than four people you went around your tiny apartment to fetch as much chairs as you could. In the end though some of them still ended up sitting on the floor. Not that Fleki or Lycion really minded, it looked like the blonde elf actually found the whole situation amusing.
"Stop being delusional and accept the fact that we are real" a monotone tone slipped through the chipped lips of Mithrun, giving you a blank look at your side. You felt sweat dripping down your forehead at his intense stare only to almost jump into Pattadol's lap when you felt him touching your cheek.
Not a big fan of physical contact, especially by strangers that shouldn't exist.
"See? I can touch you" letting out a gasp the blonde Canary by your side swatted Mithrun hand away "Captain! You shouldn't touch people so carelessly! It's rude" she almost scolded him, earning a blank stare from the gray-haired elf "It was the faster way for them to understand that we are real and not a fidget of their imagination" in the background you could hear Fleki's giggles. You swear that girl laugh at anything and everything. It's like she is constantly high or something.
"Ok. . .ok. . .cool, you are real. I understand. . .elves are real. . ." You squinted your eyes processing the information as you sipped from your cup "But again. . .why are you guys in my home?" You turned your head in Pattadol direction, who was stirring her coffee, she looked to be more the leader of this strange group even if she referred to Mithrun as 'captain'.
The blonde elf tapped the spoon on the cup before raising her eyes to you "Unfortunately those are confidential information that we cant disclose to the publ–" "Come on Pattadol. What could be the harm in telling them?" Otta interrupted her captain, leaning back on the beanbag in a nonchalant manner "We have no clue where the dungeon spat us and from the look on their faces it must be a place where elves and dungeons don't exist" she said looking at her nails.
"If they know the details it's possible that they will be more able to help us, hm?" Lycion hummed, placing an elbow on his crossed legs and leaning his head on the palm of his hand. "Wait guys–the protocol say tha–" Pattadol tried to intervine however was once again cut off by Fleki, who threw her hands in the air with a wide grin "We were on a mission to check an high danger level dungeon when suddenly, while exploring it, we were sucked inside a bunch of painting and boom! Here we are!"
"Fleki!"
"We had to chase captain Mithrun down because he got lost. Our poor captain"
"Lycion!"
