Taking over we don't play by the rules
If you wanna feel alive say the name (say the name)
The bustling cafeteria of the university was filled with the clatter of trays and the murmur of students. Seungmin and Jisung sat at their usual corner table, sharing a meal between studies and idle chatter. Seungmin, with his easy smile and casual demeanor, was discussing the latest university gossip while Jisung, engrossed in his meal, only half-listened.
"You know," Seungmin said, casually nudging Jisung's elbow, "Hyunjin's throwing this big party tonight to celebrate him being an ambassador for Versace. You should come."
Jisung glanced up, his fork hovering in mid-air. "I'm not sure, Seungmin. Parties like that aren't really my thing. And besides, your boyfriend's got you dressed in all that designer stuff. What do I have? Just my usual clothes, I'd look dumb next to you."
"Come on," Seungmin urged, his tone both encouraging and playful. "It'll be fun. Hyunjin's been excited about it for weeks. Besides, it's a chance for you to step out of your comfort zone and meet some new people. And don't worry about what to wear—just be yourself."
"JuSt bE yOuRseLf" mocked Jisung Seungmin. Jisung shook his head, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm just not in the mood for a high-profile event. I'd rather stay in and relax."
Seungmin's eyes narrowed, but his smile remained. "You've been cooped up studying for weeks. You need a break. Besides, Hyunjin specifically asked about you since he know we're best friends . It would mean a lot to the both of us if you came."
Jisung sighed, "Okay, fine. I'll go." pointing his fork at Seungmin "But only because you're making such a big deal out of it."
"Great!" Seungmin's smile widened, clearly pleased with the outcome. "I promise it'll be worth it. And hey, if you're really not into it, we can leave early. No pressure."
Later that evening, Jisung stood in front of his mirror, carefully preparing for the party. He wore a deep V-neck baggy sweater that accentuated his collarbones, paired with dark jeans. The room was suffused with the subtle fragrance of his favorite sweet perfume, which he applied with careful precision, adding a final touch to his polished look.
As he sprayed a final touch of fragrance onto his neck, Jisung took a moment to examine his reflection. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to shake off the lingering unease. Despite his reservations, he couldn't ignore a spark of anticipation about the evening's possibilities.
His phone buzzed on the dresser—Seungmin's name flashing across the screen. With a quick glance, Jisung read the message

Ready for tonight?

yep, just about to head out.
He grabbed his jacket and headed for the door, bracing himself for the evening. As he walked down the hallway to the waiting car, he felt a bit of excitement despite his hesitation. The night was a chance to break from his usual routine, even if he wasn't sure how he'd enjoy it.
Seungmin was waiting in the car, his expression bright with enthusiasm. As Jisung climbed in, Seungmin gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "You're going to have a great time, trust me."
Jisung nodded, trying to muster a smile. "Yeah, whatever you say."
As they drove through the city, the lights of Seoul twinkled like stars, and Jisung's nerves slowly gave way to a feeling of excitement. The idea of the party was starting to seem more appealing, and he was willing to see where the night would take him.
Seungmin, ever the social butterfly, wasted no time in diving into the festivities. As soon as they arrived, he eagerly left Jisung to find Hyunjin, his face bright with enthusiasm and purpose.
Left to explore the fancy venue on his own, Jisung took a deep breath and adjusted his sweater , steeling himself for the evening ahead. The vibrant hum of music and the murmur of conversation mingled with the flicker of anticipation in his chest. In search of a brief respite from the whirlwind of the party, he slipped into a quieter corner of the room.
There, he poured himself a vodka sunrise, the vivid orange and red hues swirling together like the sunset in a glass. The refreshing tang of the drink offered a subtle comfort, and he savored it slowly, letting the chill of the vodka and the citrusy bite wash over him. As he sipped, his gaze wandered over the lively crowd, the lively scene around him contrasting sharply with the calm of his corner.
