All was dark cloudtail could feel the presence of another cat but he wasn't sure which one. "Hello cloudtail" said the mysterious cat. Cloudtail recognized the voice. It was the soft loving voice of the former medicine cat spottedleaf. "You have heard about the dark threat haven't you" she said. "Yes said cloudtail. The sun rose and it was not pitch black. He was in a mysterious field he had never seen before. A river was flowing through the field. Cloudtail saw spotted leaf. "You must go to save the clans" she said. Cloudtail didn't know what to think. "Where do I go?" Asked cloudtail. "You must go where the forest guides you" she spoke. "What does that mean" he said. It was too late spotted leaf started to fade away. The clearing began to become dark again. Cloudtail awoke to the soft sounds of birds and cats talking and working outside the den. Cloudtail wondered what he should do about this mysterious quest. And what it meant. He heard the voice in head say "you must go where the forest guides you". what does that mean he thought. The more he wondered the more everything was unclear to him. Tomorrow night he would leave to go on the quest but for now he would just have to let the forest guide him.
