If given the chance, Aster would describe herself as a fiercely devoted family person, even though her bloodline was meagre. Her only remaining relatives were Petunia and Dudley, and despite their cruel treatment, she would still journey through the darkest realms for them. She understood the value of family and cherished every fleeting moment she had with them.

But when it came to Draco, Enzo, and Blaise, she would reshape the world itself for them. Through all the trials she had faced, she knew that sometimes a chosen family could mean even more than blood ties.

It's rare for someone to say their three brother figures followed them back in time to preserve their very existence from being erased. As Aster followed the rugged path down the cliff, her eyes catching the ancient entrance to her ancestors' settlement, her heart swelled with a deep, overwhelming love. These were the friends who had stood by her through every storm, despite her Gryffindor spirit clashing with their Slytherin heritage and the prejudices they had been taught about her half-blood status. She knew, without a doubt, that shaking Draco's hand in their first year had been the right choice, even though it cost her a friendship with Ron and Hermione. She wouldn't change a thing.

At the end of the path, she reached out instinctively for the nearest hand, which happened to be Enzo's. He glanced down at their intertwined fingers before lifting his gaze to meet her vivid, emerald eyes, his own filled with tender concern. "Are you okay?" he asked softly.

Draco and Blaise, having paused ahead of them, turned back with visible worry. Aster looked around nervously, then met their gazes. "I'm just so grateful for you guys," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "I'm just so grateful for you guys," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. m just so grateful for you guys," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. m not sure I'd still be here if it wasn't for you."

Draco's eyes softened with a brotherly affection that spoke volumes. During the war, he had become a secret ally, risking everything for her. His mother, who had also betrayed Voldemort in the end, understood the sacrifices he made. His father's loss, already deep and painful long before, didn't matter anymore. Draco would go through it all again for her without a second thought.

Blaise had grown up amidst bloodshed and murder, with his mother being the infamous Black Widow and all that came with it. When he first saw Aster, this delicate, timid girl, he wondered how she could possibly face the Dark Lord. Her fearful eyes revealed the harshness of her childhood, and something inside him compelled him to protect her. He didn't view defending her as a burden; to him, it was a natural response.

Enzo wasn't a pureblood supremacist, but he believed their traditions should remain intact despite the changing world and all the muggleborns being introduced. This belief was part of why the Berkshires had even considered aligning with the Dark Lord and his anti-muggleborn propaganda.

"We're always going to be here for you, Aster," Enzo said with steady sincerity. "You're our sister." Blaise, trying to lighten the mood, ruffled her hair playfully.
