VI. The Tapestry Woven

Everyone emerged from their trials and the vast landscape behind them have started to dissolve around them like mist in the morning sun. They found themselves standing at the exit of each trials, where Hailey, Jadene, Kyle, and Rafaella awaited each other with open arms.

"Yeah, you're right." Rafaella said nervously.

They heard a soft chuckle.

"Who's there?!" Kyle said.

"Yes, every one of you is right! I, Carlo, am the game master all along! You don't know how funny it was to look at your faces! Come meet with me at the path ahead of you. Then, let's settle down a fight, so this game of mine will end by all of your will." Carlo said while laughing.

The friends nodded and turned to face the path ahead. Their hearts are finally reunited by the bonds they had forged in this world.
