the four boys behind jake followed along as they went to his room.
he opened the door to find jungwon and sunghoon with confused faces; they were not expecting more company as well.
"hey, who are these people?" sunghoon asked, watching them all come in. his eyes were fixated on sunoo, not even noticing everyone else's faces.
"these are heeseung's friends," jake said, stopping in the middle of the room and noticing them getting comfortable in HIS room. he moved closer to heeseung, almost leaning into him for reassurance.
"oh hi! i'm jungwon," he smiled as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"i'm sunoo," the boy who looked utterly adorable replied, his bright smile and chubby cheeks lighting up the room.
sunghoon, still staring at sunoo, blinked and then quickly introduced himself. "i'm sunghoon. nice to meet you guys."
"nice to meet you too!" sunoo smiled, his energy obviously making an impact on sunghoon.
jake couldn't help but notice how easily they were fitting in, he didn't like his friends at all. he moved even closer to heeseung, practically clinging to his arm.
heeseung leaned in and whispered, "thanks for being cool about this. i really appreciate it."
jake nodded, trying to shake off his irritation. "it's fine, heeseung. i just want to have a good time."
niki had noticed jake's clinginess and decided to have a little fun. "hey jake," he leaned back on the bed and started with a grin, a grin that who knows what hes about to say, "you seem pretty attached to heeseung hyung. is there something we should know?"
jake's face flushed slightly, but he tried to play it off. "he's my best friend, there's nothing wrong."
niki tilted his head still not convinced as his grin widened. "just best friends? you sure there's nothing more?"
jake rolled his eyes, he hated how niki was able to catch on quickly, despite how obvious he is. "just best friends, niki."
heeseung chuckled, patting jake's back. "yeah, jake's always been like this. nothing wrong with that."
sunoo, who was sitting with jungwon, catched on to the teasing. "aw, jake, you're so protective. it's kinda cute."
sunghoon's nosy ass wanted to chime in as well, "well, maybe heeseung's lucky to have such a devoted friend."
