Ryusei POV

Us and Class C left the student council office and everyone seemed unhappy with the situation.

Sakagami-sensei approached Sakura, who looked like she was on the verge of tears.

He said something very cold to her.

Sakagami: I want you to reflect on the fact that many students get involved in this because of your lies. Besides, if you think we'll take it easy if we start crying, I'm afraid you're being foolish. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Sakagami-sensei and his students left, leaving those words hanging in the air.

Honestly, I would like Chabashira-sensei to have this attitude of defending her students like Sakagami-sensei but I doubt that could happen.

The students in class C started to complain saying that Sakura was telling lies, and they were doing it on purpose to make Sakura worse than she already was.

Silence enveloped the student council room immediately after.

Sakura, trying to muffle her voice as best she could, burst into tears.

Ayanokouji: I tried as much as possible to speak up during the discussion, but do we still have a chance? Horikita?

Horikita: I won't give up. I will continue fighting to support your testimony until the end.

Ayanokouji: You understand that we won't solve this problem just by being stubborn. Won't this hurt more people in the process?

Horikita: I have no intention of losing. Well then, I must apologize.

With that, Horikita turned and left.

Sudou followed her.

Horikita is a stubborn person and refuses to lose, I think I can identify with her.

Sakura got close to the ayanakouji and started talking.

Sakura: I'm sorry, Ayanokouji-kun... If I had taken a step forward at the beginning, everything would have worked out, but everything ended up this way because I didn't have the courage.

Ayanokouji: It would have ended the same even if you had stepped forward at the beginning. They would have fought to discredit his testimony simply because the witness came from Class D. The result would have been the same.

Sakura: But

Ryusei: He's right Sakura, even if you were direct and said everything without fear, the result would be the same but you should be proud because even though you were scared, you managed to speak in front of everyone, giving us more of a chance in the trial.

Manabu: Are you still here?

Horikita's older brother and secretary Tachibana walked out of the student council room.

Secretary Tachibana started to lock the door with a key.

Manabu: What are you planning to do?

Ayanokouji: What do you mean?

Manabu: I thought that when you came here with Suzune, you would reveal some kind of straightforward plan.

Ayanokouji: I'm not exactly Zhuge Liang or Kuroda Kanbei. I do not have any plans.

While they continued to ignore my presence and Sakura's, they continued talking.

Manabu: So does that mean that when Suzune claimed that Sudou was completely innocent, she was just getting carried away?

Ayanokouji: Hyperbole, you mean? I don't think so.

Manabu: I understand

Manabu: So there's what you said, Sakura.
