A dim light shone through the soft curtains that lined against the windows. The sound of the old fan rattling, and the barley audible sound of a group of people running down the halls. My eyes felt foggy, my upper body was sprawled over the desk. All I feel is the ache in my back from sleeping in such an uncomfortable position. I raised my head slowly, the keyboard of my computer was printed onto my skin. I stare blankly at the wall for a moment. I didn't even know how I fell asleep. Wait... I fell asleep! Then my mind started racing. I quickly look at the clock. Nine twenty three, the clock shown. I sighed in relief. I had twenty seven minutes to get ready. Then I got up, flexed and stretched until my back cracked back in place. I gathered my things, then I opened my bag, my eye caught on to a small white envelope. I smiled, I forgot about it after I picked it up last night. I put down my books, before I reached in and grabbed the envelope. I ripped it open. The contents inside were a piece of paper and what seemed to be a necklace. I reached in and pulled out the necklace. It was a golden heart with what seemed to be a ruby in the center of it, it had an imprint that had a heart with my name on it. I don't know why but reading 'Samantha♡' on a beautiful necklace such as this made me smile. Wait... I do know why. Because my boyfriend, Calum Hood, sent it to me. I sighed in happiness. I set the necklace down and then took out the paper. I read it to myself.
'Dear Sam,
I don't know where to start, I know that I've been traveling a lot, so we don't always get to talk. I love you, you're all that goes through my mind. We write all these new songs and every single (good) one makes me think of you. I miss you... So so much baby girl. We are touring in America soon! We might even tour in Ohio, who knows! If you haven't already seen it I got you a beautiful necklace. You don't even know it.. But I have been planning on buying that necklace ever since I was younger. There was always this beautiful jewelry store by my house. Although the necklace was a few thousand dollars so I could never buy it. My mom told me to save up so I could buy it for the love of my life. And I did Sam. I bought it for you. I love you. And I will always love you!
Xoxo
-Love Calum'I smiled, the necklace was beautiful, it was. Although I just couldn't believe that he would spend that much money on me. I can even buy myself a thirty four pack of cup of noodles for myself sometimes. I don't even know why he's with me sometimes. I'm not a model, and I don't have a lot of money. Not to mention my personality isn't exactly the best. But he is perfection in my eyes, perhaps he sees me the same way... Hopefully he does. I fasten the necklace around my neck, changed my clothes, packed my stuff, and got an apple to go before heading out the door to my first class.

Yoooooo guys! Hi! Yes I am the author of this story! Although I would like to remain anonymous, so you all can call me L, I guess idk. I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy the first chapter. I'm practicing writing to see how I do. Also this read is going to be based on the MTV television show Catfish and 5sos. I don't own either of those. Enjoy my novel!
