Yoongi's deep voice echoed in the room, causing Jimin's mother to recoil. He was still seated, his hands working furiously at the ropes binding him, careful not to be seen.
"Are you losing the game, mother-in-law?" he taunted, his words striking her like a whip. She lunged for the gun, desperation glinting in her eyes, but Jimin's swift kick sent it clattering to the floor.
"My turn, Mom," Jimin growled, his voice low and dangerous. He seized her wrist, twisting it painfully behind her back.
Terror flashed in her eyes, but she underestimated him. Gone was the timid Jimin she had once manipulated; in his place was a man hardened by adversity.
"What the hell are you doing, Jimin?" she shrieked, but her bravado was a thin veneer. He could crush her with a single movement, yet his morality held him back.
Despite her cruelty, she was the one who had raised him, however flawed her love might have been.
"This pain is nothing compared to what you put me through," Jimin retorted, his grip tightening.Yoongi watched the confrontation with a mix of pride and concern, his eyes puffy from crying.
With a violent struggle, Jimin's mother broke free, a glint of madness in her eyes. She produced a knife, aiming it at Jimin's heart. His eyes closed, accepting his fate, but the blade never found its mark. Yoongi had intervened, disarming her with a swift movement.
"You think you can hurt my Jimin?" Yoongi's voice was ice-cold. The woman's defiance faltered.
"You dare talk to me like that?" she spat.
A bitter laugh escaped Yoongi's lips. "Do you think I'm the same weak man I was five years ago? You took my son, my Jimin. I'll never forgive you. You'll pay for what you've done, Mrs. Park Soo."Her smirk vanished as she realized the gravity of his words. "And how will I pay? You're trapped here, at my mercy," she boasted.
Yoongi stood, towering over her. "Oh, you'll pay. And if you doubt me, try me." Grabbing Jimin, he seated himself on the king's chair, his posture commanding.
"Sitting on my throne? Ordering me around? You're delusional. One call, and your life will be over," she threatened.Yoongi chuckled, amusement glinting in his eyes. "Is that so? Prove it." He clapped his hands once. The room filled with the sound of approaching footsteps. A hundred guards materialized, their presence a stark contrast to the previous three.
Jimin's eyes widened in astonishment. "How?" he whispered.
Yoongi grinned. "I bought them from my best 'friend,' Jung Hoseok."The color drained from Jimin's mother's face. She had met her match.
