43. Whispers of Tomorrow

The house was abuzz with excitement. Today is Sumi's sixth birthday, a milestone for their little bundle of joy. Balloons, streamers, and colorful decorations transformed the once familiar space into a festive wonderland. Seo-A, despite her tender age, was caught up in the general merriment, her tiny hands reaching out to touch every shiny object.

Jimin and Yoongi, amidst the flurry of preparations, found stolen moments to exchange nervous glances. Today was also the day they planned to share their exciting news with Sumi. The thought of his reaction filled them with both anticipation and trepidation. 

"I can't believe we're actually doing this," Jimin whispered to Yoongi as they wrapped the last gift.

Yoongi squeezed his hand reassuringly. "We'll handle it together, love. Sumi is a smart kid. He'll understand," he replied, his voice filled with confidence.

Meanwhile, Namjoon and Jin were busy in the kitchen, the tantalizing aroma of Sumi's favorite cake filling the air. They'd planned a surprise video message from distant relatives, hoping to make the day even more special.

As the clock ticked closer to Sumi's arrival, a sense of anticipation filled the house. Everyone was eager to see the look on his face when he walked in. The surprise they had planned was a culmination of their love and affection for their little boy.

The front door burst open, and a whirlwind of energy entered the house. Sumi, hand-in-hand with his favorite uncles, Taehyung and Jungkook, was the center of attention. His eyes widened in astonishment at the transformed living room.

"Wow!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with delight. "It's like a magical wonderland!"

Everyone erupted in laughter as Sumi raced around the room, touching everything he could reach. Seo-A, her tiny hands outstretched, tried to keep up with her energetic brother.

"Happy birthday, my little prince," Jimin said, lifting Sumi into a warm embrace. Yoongi followed, ruffling Sumi's hair. "You're growing up so fast," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

Namjoon and Jin joined the group hug, their hearts overflowing with love. "We have so many surprises for you today," Jin promised, his eyes twinkling.

As the day unfolded, Sumi was showered with gifts, attention, and endless love. The surprise video message from his distant relatives brought tears of joy to his eyes. Laughter, games, and delicious food filled the house, creating a tapestry of happiness.

Towards the evening, as the excitement began to subside, Jimin and Yoongi decided it was time to share their news. They gathered everyone in the living room, their hearts pounding with anticipation.

"We have something to tell you," Jimin began, his voice soft. Sumi looked at him with curious eyes, his tiny face filled with expectation.

"We're going to be parents again!" Yoongi announced, taking Jimin's hand. A hush fell over the room, followed by a chorus of excited squeals. Sumi's eyes widened in disbelief, his face breaking into a wide smile. "A baby sibling!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down with joy.

Sumi's squeals of delight echoed through the house, filling it with a contagious joy. He jumped up and down, his tiny hands waving excitedly. "A baby brother or sister!" he exclaimed, his face flushed with excitement.

Seo-A, ever the mimic, clapped her hands and giggled, her infectious laughter adding to the cheerful atmosphere. 

Taehyung and Jungkook, their eyes sparkling with happiness, congratulated Jimin and Yoongi. "This is amazing news!" Taehyung exclaimed, ruffling Sumi's hair.

Namjoon and Jin, their hearts brimming with love, embraced Jimin and Yoongi. "We're so happy for you both," Jin said, his voice choked with emotion. "This family is only getting bigger and better."

The rest of the evening was a blur of laughter, games, and delicious food.

As the last guest bid their goodbyes, a sense of quiet contentment settled over the house. Sumi, exhausted from the excitement of the day, was fast asleep, his soft snores filling the air with a comforting rhythm.

Jimin and Yoongi exchanged a tired but satisfied smile. They had pulled off the perfect birthday celebration for their little boy. As they cleaned up the last remnants of the party, their hands brushed against each other, sending a spark of intimacy through their bodies.
