Chapter 4: Sports Day

I woke up with a spark feeling, maybe because of the excitement I felt. Tumingin ako sa orasan, 6:00 a.m. Maaga pa naman para sa okasyon. Dumiretso ako sa baba para mag-almusal dahil nagrereklamo na ang tiyan ko.

"Magandang umaga, Elle."

Bumaling ako sa kusina at nakita ang kasambahay namin na naghahanda ng lulutuin.

Ngumiti ako sakaniya. "Magandang umaga din po, Manang Emma!"

"Mamaya darating dito iyong bagong dalawang kasambahay na tinawagan ng mommy mo."

"Ah, talaga po? Mabuti naman kung ganoon, para naman po ay may katulong kayo rito at may ka-kuwentuhan." dumiretso ako sa ref at nagsalin ng gatas sa baso. Gumawa din ako ng avocado toast.

"Oo nga, eh."

"Almusal po kayo."

"Salamat, tapos na ako."

After taking my breakfast, I showered myself. Nagbihis na din ako ng P.E Uniform namin. White shirt na may logo ng school namin, "South Calle De Vallé High School" and paired it with black pants that has two lines on both sides. I prefer public school than private. Rin and I studied at a private school when we were in Grade 11. Most of the students there are arrogant because they are rich. It was suffocating. And ince we don't want to be involved with them, we transferred to public school. I noticed some familiar faces in my school too who studied at my previous school; Athalia Judeous High School. My current school is independent. They were active in any school activities and it was fun! I wore my white converse shoes and also tied up my hair with white scrunchie since I blowered it lately.

"Good morning, bunso."

I already go downstairs and saw my family already on their uniforms. They're going to their works.

I pucker. "Cringe naman ng term mo. Good morning anyway."

"E'di pandak."

I rolled my eyes to brother Caleb. Ang corny talaga kaya paanong magkaka-syota. I walk towards my parent and bid my goodbye.

"Remember what we said to you yesterday, okay, honey?" mom says.

I nodded as a response."Have a good day, mom and dad. Good luck with your work."

"Don't get stressed too much." singit ni kuya Leb.

"How's your school?" bukas ni kuya ng topic pagkatapos kong pumasok sa kotse. He knew about my previous school since I open it up to him.

"It was great. I also made a new friend." I smiled.

"That was good to hear. No any bullies?"

"Nope. How about you, kuya? How's your work?" I asked.

"It's actually great. We're going to out a new brand of clothes. Yesterday, it was announced that it matched the percentage of Gucci."

My jaw dropped. What?!

"Woah! Good job! That was costlier." I said, amaze was drawn in my eyes.

"Yeah. It will present through the model soon. Ruki is one of the models in the runway."

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig. Ate ni Rin! I forgot that ate Ruki is a model. She was a gorgeous girl. Tall, kind,  and sweet too! She seems like a fairy!

"Eh!" hinampas ko siya sa braso. "Lucky, huh?"

I smiled when I caught kuya Caleb flashed a genuine smile on his lips.
Ate Ruki is his ideal woman.
