My name is Meridiana. I'm the last survivor of my village. I had a wonderful husband. He was caring, kind, protective and loved me. The King's knights came in and murdered him along with the rest of the village but left me. That's going to be their biggest mistake!
Right now I'm the one they know nothing about except for being the shadow in the night. My fae power? How about I just keep it hidden like myself under my cloak given to me by my parents. I'm on my own, but just like Delphyne, I will help other fae women get their revenge. I'm traveling to find her now. Last I heard, she had spoken with Luna who was pretty much sold to the king's son Kai.
Ungrateful shit is what he is. Glad she off-ed him. Good for her, but her revenge isn't quite done. She's still got to learn to harness those powers. Just like Leira.
"Stop! Who are you hooded stranger?" Said the king's men. Probably looking for Luna.
"Don't worry I'm not who you're looking for."
"How do you know we're looking for someone? That was never announced."
"I hear things. And no, I do not know where she is, I just know of her and what she did."
"We can't let you live then. The King doesn't want that getting out."
                "Have fun with that."
They draw their swords, but before they can do anything like the speed of light their swords are gone.
"Boy you guys are pretty slow." I said while holding the swords.
"How in the fu—?" One said.
I laughed. "How is it that the King's soldiers can kill millions, but can't protect themselves against one little—?"
"You're the shadow in the night!" They yell then run off on their horses.
Continuing on my way I've now entered the dark forest, home to Durga who isn't here. She's traveling with Medeina who has learned a lot but still has yet to harness her true potential.
I run across Beliane, who doesn't exactly know me either.
              "Who are you?" She demands.
"I'm Meridiana, also known to be the shadow in the night, I'm just passing through."
"So why should I let you through?"
"Because I want to help Delphyne just like your friends Durga and Medeina."
"But how do you even know of them and their cause?"
So I finally do what I've never done with anyone but my village. I reveal myself to her.
