Sonic Freedom Fight

Chapter 3

Outside Dr Finitevus's base Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Silver make their through to it via an Eggman spaceship

Tails: *piloting* it sure was generous of Eggman to just lend this over to us

Sonic: I agree bro. But he didn't seem like his usual self. He said something about being careful on what we'll find or something

Silver: remind me again why were infiltrating this random space station of all things? If it's not Eggman then what is it?

Knuckles: well Tails found some sort of Chaos energy coming from the sky last night. So we had to look into it. Even if it's not Eggman we should still check it out

Shadow: enough with the chit chat *sighs*

Sonic: is something wrong Shadow?

Shadow: yeah. I can sense 2 emeralds on that ship. It won't be easy getting aboard

Tails: this is as far as I can go. You guys jump out and sneak onboard. I'll head away from here so I'm not detected

Knuckles: thanks Tails. Come on let's go!

They all jump out of the ship and find their way inside the space station

With Finitevus

Swatbot: sir we have intruders onboard

Finitevus: good. They took the bait hook line and sinker. Do me a kindness and give them a warm welcome wouldn't you?

Swatbot: yes sir

Team Triple S and Knuckles explore the station and fight off Swatbots on the way. They later come across a metal door

Shadow: *walks over to keypad and tries to open it. It flashes red* damn! Whoever he is he must've known we were coming

Sonic: maybe we can-

They both hear a loud crash. They turn around and see that Silver and Knuckles opened the door with brute force

They keep running until they notice someone walking towards them from the shadows

Dr Finitevus: *steps forward* it's nice to finally meet you Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic: huh?! Who are you?! And how do you know my name?!

Dr Finitevus: the name's Dr Finitevus. One of the only surviving members of the echidna tribe

Knuckles: your from the Echidna tribe?! I don't remember father telling me about you at all!

Dr Finitevus: oh you wouldn't remember since you were merely an infant back then Knuckles. Before you ask yes I know about some of you thanks to me hearing about your adventures whenever I explore Mobius. Now that Eggman's gone into hiding a new genius like myself can take over

Shadow: why are doing this?!

Finitevus: simple. Rule the world, let my machines take over and have the Chaos Emeralds in mine and my associates

Silver: wait you didn't tell us your backstory like some villains do

Finitevus: why waste time young one. I'll let my robots do the talking. Get them! *opens a warp ring and teleports somewhere else in his lair*

The 4 heroes would then fight off wave after wave of Swatbots. Through the cameras Finitevus and the 3 evil Hedgehogs would watch

Seelkadoom: can't we go and fight them now? I'm getting impatient!

Finitevus: sure. It's all a part of my plan. Wear them down and when the times right you 3 will strike
