The Dance

**Cece Pov**

It's finally Friday of our second week of school. The day of the dance. 

Marissa and I are at her house getting ready for the dance and then her mom will take us.

Mari has her long hair straightened, and she wearing the cute little A- LIne black dress. And it looks so good on her. 

I'm wearing some high-waisted jeans, black boots with a medium heel, And a Black halter top. My long hair is in a high ponytail and it hangs wavy. We've applied light makeup, and I feel so good tonight, and confident.

Mari's mom takes us to the dance. 

When we get there we wait in line and I'm feeling so anxious. I can tell she is too because she's holding my hands. 

Her cousin shows up and hugs her. "That dress is a little tight Riss, but cute. " 

"She looks totally gorgeous. " I say. 

She looks at me up and down, " someone has to." I don't care what she has to say honestly. I know her type, I have a cousin like her.

We finally go in, and everything looks so cool. like the moves. 

Luah style with Hawaiian decor everywhere. everyone is dressed casually and cute. There's an upbeat song playing. 

Karina pulls Mari with her to start dancing, and Mari drags me too. We start dancing, and Karina keeps trying to box me out and get in between us, and it's kind of annoying. 

We're moving our hips when I feel someone come up behind me, I feel big hands wrap around my waist from behind and someone breathing on my neck cuddling into it. 

The DJ's lights are flashing everywhere. I feel butterflies, but then a sinking feeling as I look up and realize it's Luis. 

I look back at Marissa, and she raises her eyebrows at me. I continue dancing and move out of his grip. I stop dancing with him, and then I motion for him to dance with Karina and he doesn't hesitate.

I felt a little gross and uncomfortable with how touchy he was. A tall blonde guy walks up to Marissa and asks her to dance. I smile, nod, and walk away to get water.

As I approach the table I see Ronan and the guys. The guys see me and their jaws drop, I stick my tongue out because they're like this with every girl. 

Ro is facing them drinking water. He's wearing jeans and a casual black button-up with black shoes. We're matching!

I place my index finger on my mouth for them not to say anything. 

As I approach him, I get on my tippy toes, and I attempt to cover his eyes from behind. He quickly moves my hands away turning around super fast like a freakin ninja still holding on to my left.

"Cece! You almost- wow." He says holding my hand up and looking at me. 

"Cute as always huh?" I ask. 

He just laughs and hugs me.

"I came to get water, I didn't know you were already here. I'll be right back." I walk a few feet away grabbing a water bottle from the table. 

I turn back and see that a tall blonde beautiful girl is asking Ro to dance and pulling at his arm. He's shaking his head, then he looks up at me, and I smile and motion for him to go. 

He looks defeated and goes with her. I walk towards Zac and Brandon and we watch them. The girl is dancing on him really close, and he looks uncomfortable, it's a hip-hop song, so she shaking her butt a lot, and he looks so UNCOMFORTABLE.
