Sid rubbed his hands to get some warmth in this freezing cold...
He was sitting in the Shimla trek headquarters..
They were looking for Abhi since morning, and it was 12 in the night...
Sid's eyes misted for the nth time as he prayed his Dada's safety...
Sid looked around, he was told by the trek people to stay here, it was unsafe in the night..
They were looking for Abhi with their resources, they had guaranteed a safe trek, but many things were at odd today..
The weather was slightly unfavorable, and when they had been climbing, the avalanche had been the most drastic and unexpected surprise..
Since this mountain was less explored, Sid had wanted to see this one only, despite Abhi's fears..
Sid's eyes teared up even more, feeling guilty for not listening to his Dada...
He mumbled:"Pls Dada pls, pls just come back, kabhi aapki baat nahi taalunga...humesha aapki sununga Dada, sorry...pls pls vapas aa jao.."
Sid clearly remembered how they lost Abhi's whereabouts..
They were trekking up, but their was a sudden shaky feeling..
Sidshek were together, Abhi was holding Sid's hand like a father scared of losing his child..
Sid didn't bother about that, he was enjoying...
The avalanche had been a surprise factor, and the worst part was that Sidshek and the crew with them had reached the peak point of the avalanche..
The avalanche hit them drastically and Abhi's hold on Sid tightened as they rolled over..
Abhi and Sid held onto a big rock, their body aching..
Abhi hugged Sid to his heart...
The trek backup team was approaching them..
The avalanche hit the nearby area and Sidshek gasped as the surface slipped through..
They were not able to hold on firmly..
The backup team had reached closer, and so had the avalanche..
Abhi knew only one of them could reach the team in time, before the avalanche hit them..
Abhi left Sid's hand, and before Sid could protest, Abhi pushed him carefully, making him roll down towards the team..
Abhi tried to roll towards them, to try his luck, but the avalanche engulfed him..
Sid burst into tears as he recollected what he saw...
He had seen his brother disappear in the snow, in front of him...

The trek team knew that there were high chances of death by now, but they were still looking for Abhi, wanting to atleast get the corpse for the crying brother...
They felt guilty, but nature could never be controlled..
There were also minimal chances that Abhi might be alive, injured but breathing...maybe unconscious to respond..
They were going deeper, just to get one glimpse of him..

Sid knew he would break down if he kept thinking about that moment, and so he drowned himself into their memories..
