It was the tracker who once again pinned my arms behind me. Although this time I used it more as a support, than taking it as restraint. I was unsteady on my feet, I could barely make sense of what I was seeing, and my stomach seemed persistent on wanting to throw up even though I had nothing to throw up. I was tugged through a labyrinth of corridors. We seemed to be just getting deeper and deeper underground. Eventually though, we made it to a large set of double doors. To be honest I was nervous about what awaited me inside. I soon realized I was perfectly justified in that feeling. The doors were thrown open by the big one, and the men on thrones looked up from whatever they were doing. Suddenly the one in the middle let loose a chilling laugh. He had a clown-like grin on his face. The vampires around me bowed.

"My dears, you have finally succeeded in your mission." He was still grinning, but it was more like a serial killer's smile than anything else.

"Yes, master." The big one said. The creepy man bounced forward toward him and outstretched his hand. The big one placed his hand in his. Soon the creepy one pulled away. His eyes were filled with an almost child-like delight, but with a greedy spin on it.

"So much power. So much ability." He turned to the other two men on the thrones. "She has given even our elite guard quite the challenge." They both seemed quite interested now, even the one who looked as though he no longer wanted to live. The man turned his freaky smile toward me. "May I?" He asked me. Jane spoke quickly,

"She has been most uncooperative, although she seems weak enough that you should be able to read her." The man tilted his head.

"Yes, I believe even dear Felix had trouble keeping her contained." He drawled.I believe Felix was referring to the giant vampire, but I could be wrong. "The onyx is effective though?" He questioned, this time the one who was still pinning my arms behind my back spoke up.

"Yes, though she seems to need more of it than we originally thought. She broke out of the original choker quite quickly. The cuffs, as well as the choker seem to work quite well though." The man nodded, taking all this in. This time it was the blonde man on the throne who asked the question.

"Are her abilities as extensive as the writings on her kind claim?" He questioned in a demanding manner. His smile turned almost to that of a maniac when the first man turned to him and whispered.

"Yes." An evil smirk grew on the blond king's face. The ravens= haired one, the one who had been talking all this time, turned to me. "Would you allow me to see my dear?" In response I gave an animal-like snarl that was surprisingly strong, compared to the rest of my body. This caused the tracker to tighten his grip painfully on my arms. "I'm afraid that was not a request." The raven haired king stated, before advancing toward me. My strength seemed to come back to me a little when I figured out what he could do. He had touched Felix's hand, then seemed to know what had happened when they caught me. Just how far back could he see? I was not taking any chances. I did not want him to see anything he could use against me. So I fought. My sudden increase in strength seemed to surprise the tracker. He momentarily lost his iron grip, and I yanked my arms out. Now I had no clue what I was doing, and I had a millisecond to figure it out. I had only two knives, both of which I should probably save. I was covered in onyx, so my powers were useless. I seemed to still have very mildly enhanced strength and speed. I was more nimble than most of these vampires so I used that to my advantage. I took off running, sprinting as fast as possible for me. I did not need stamina, I just needed speed, and a running start. I launched myself upward, twisting to get more height with my little energy. My plan was to get my claws into the wall and climb up as high as possible. Too late I realized I could not bring out my claws when I had the onyx on. I reached out desperately, just managing to get hold of one of their metal old-fashioned torch holders. I probably looked like an idiot to them. A tiny bedraggled girl dangling from an old torch holder by one hand. I plucked up enough strength to look down, all the vampires were staring up at me, shock etched on all their faces. I was a good 30 feet in the air, which was quite impressive given the circumstances. Then I felt its toll. I was suddenly so drained. I could do nothing as my hand slipped off the torch holder, my eyes closed as I plummeted to what could easily be my death. I braced for an impact that never came. I vaguely wondered if I was dead. I could hear nothing, smell nothing, and see nothing. But, I could feel an icy grip. Another one took my hand. I felt myself moving. I moved for a while. I had absolutely no clue where I was. Was I even alive? Can you feel things in death? Somehow I left my mind without the answer to that question, that was the last thing I thought before I was fully asleep.
