A/N: Hello! This is mainly Minsung so most of the POV will be from Han or Lee Know's perspectives, however I may (or may not) occasionally use the others but hopefully those perspectives will be apparent as you read.

Also I think it goes without saying, but of course this is all in fun, and in no way meant to imply anything about the actual Stray Kids members. Everything is purely a work of fiction (fantasies in my head lol) and anything recognizable is simply a nod to their tremendous talent and influence as artists and people.

This is also heavily inspired by a BL drama called, You Are Mine. I just threw my own spin on it. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think, I'm kinda nervous about this story because I adore the whatevership that is MINSUNG.

Today was the day.

That morning he shut off his alarm and excitedly scrambled around his tiny apartment to get ready. Showering and putting on the clothes he had set out the night before. His best friend would be here to pick him up any minute and he remembered the older boy stressing about not making him late for work. Sure enough, he got a text from him stating that he was outside and Han quickly scarfed down a piece of toast, and grabbed his keys that lay on top of a pile of overdue bills.

"I can't believe you got me a job at the SKZ fashion and magazine house!" An excited Han squealed, nearly bouncing in his seat. They were riding together in Hyunjin's car, on the way to what would be Jisung's first day on the job. "You're the bestest friend anyone could ask for!"

His best friend since college, Hwang Hyunjin smiled warily, "Well....don't thank me just yet. You haven't met your boss."

Jisung shrugged, still smiling, ever the optimist, "Aww he can't be that bad, right Jin? You worked for him for a few months before you were transferred. What was he like?"

"Boring, strict, and insensitive," he rattled off quickly, making Han flinch, his brows drawing together in worry. Presumably Hyunjin noticed this because he faltered and he sighed adding, "Okay, Mr. Lee wasn't completely awful," he admitted. "He's actually very knowledgeable about the industry and you're bound to learn a lot from him. I think we developed a decent relationship after a while of working together, but I won't lie and say it was easy."

Jisung frowned, "Well, do you have any pointers? Surely you can give me some sort of leg up so I don't make a complete fool of myself," he pleased with wide, puppy dog eyes. The handsome, long haired male just sighed, and remained silent, but the smile creeping up on his face betrayed his true feelings. "Come on Jinnie, you know I need this job!"

Hyunjin snorted, "That's an understatement. You've been surviving on tea and day old bread for months. And you were wearing yourself thin working three jobs Ji," he acknowledged, allowing his concern for his best friend to show.

Han placed a hand on Hyunjin's arm, a sweet smile on his face, "I really am grateful, you know? It'll be nice not having to juggle all of that. I'm amazed that this personal assistant job is paying more than those three combined. No wonder it's such a sought after position."

"Right," Hyunjin nodded, "Okay, here's the rundown on Mr. Lee," he began rattling off a list of habits and preferences the Creative Director at SKZ had. Han listened to them each carefully, fingers itching for a pad and pen to jot down all of these useful tips.

Apparently, Hyunjin wasn't kidding about the man's personality. It seemed after Hyunjin he'd run off no less than five assistants, most of them leaving the office in tears due to his harsh demeanor and exacting standards. Honestly the more he learned, the more the nerves were starting to set in. Lee Minho seemed difficult to impress. Not to mention that this assistant job was sounding far more demanding than Hyunjin let on. Was he really cut out for something like this? Except he couldn't bail now, that would make Hyunjin look bad, not to mention be like a slap in his best friend's face for all his help. So unfortunately Jisung was just going to have to tough it out. Maybe he'd get a last minute transfer like Hyunjin and wind up working for someone a lot nicer?

"We're here," Hyunjin announced softly and a surprised Jisung yelped in his seat. "Try to relax Hannie. I never would've recommended you if I didn't think you could rise up to the challenge. You got this," he said, stressing the last few words.

"I...I got it," Han agreed with a firm nod.

Hyunjin smiled, "Good. Now let's hurry up and get inside, we need to be at our station before Mr. Lee does his first walk through."

"Walk through?" Jisung echoed dumbly, racing behind his long legged friend which is much more difficult to do in his chunky loafers and altered thrift store suit.

The older boy was dressed similarly, although having worked at SKZ for a while he could afford a suit from a department store at least and not the bargain store where Jisung primarily shopped. Not that Hyunjin was above shopping there too, they actually often dug through the bins filled with hand me downs searching for forgotten fashion finds or items they knew they could style into something fabulous. "Yes, a walk through is...well, it's better to just experience it firsthand," Hyunjin hissed, jabbing at the button for the elevator. When they arrived at the correct floor, Jisung was immediately stunned by the flurry of activity present. People were scrambling around the office, or frantically jotting things down, preparing things, it was chaos.

"Jin! Thank goodness, I was worried you might be late," a beautiful man with freckles and elfin features greeted his friend. "He's going to be here any minute...."

"Who?" Han asked.

"Mr. Lee!" Hyunjin whispered fiercely, dragging Jisung to one of the empty cubicles. Next thing he knew a pen and a legal pad was being shoved in his arms. "The moment Mr. Lee opens his mouth, you start writing," he demanded. "It'll be information overload and you might not understand what he's talking about, but Felix and I will help out where we can."

At this the pretty blonde male smiled and offered his hand, "I'm Lee Felix by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you."

The low depth of his voice was shocking when compared to the angelic face but somehow it still suited the man, Han returned his smile with an equally warm expression, shaking his hand. "Han Jisung, it's nice to meet you too."

No sooner did they complete their greeting when the double doors next to their station opened up and the most beautiful yet terrifying looking man waltzed out. The bustling office went silent in an instant, everyone frozen in their spots. Despite his shorter stature he walked with the confidence of a man of greater height. His face was composed of sharp angles, like a lovingly carved sculpture, he had deep, dark eyes that looked on with a fierce gaze and the dark, reddish brown hair looked devastatingly good against his light olive complexion. He wore an expensive looking black suit and thin white pinstripes, his dress shirt looked like it was made from some surprisingly soft, supple fabric. This was Mr. Lee? Why didn't Jinnie mention how handsome he was?!

Hyunjin made a gesture for him to follow this man and Jisung stumbled forward, slightly panicked as Hyunjin and Felix followed suit. All at once Mr. Lee started talking, gesturing and pointing at different people and items as he gave his two cents on everyone's work. He never really looked impressed, but it was clear when he was displeased. Just like his friend suggested, Han was scribbling notes furiously. Mr. Lee talked quickly, but his words were concise and to the point which did help. Eventually they had rounded every corner of the design team's floor and now Han was understanding the term "walk-through". This seemed like a regular morning occurrence based on how everyone reacted. Or at least weekly. Mr. Lee seemed to be assessing everyone and everything, including Han.

It took all he had not to squirm under the boss's scrutiny. Beside him Hyunjin stepped forward and bowed slightly, "Mr. Lee, this is Han Jisung, my recommendation for my replacement as your assistant."

Jisung smiled and bowed, "It's a pleasure to meet you sir."

"We shall see," Mr. Lee muttered mostly to himself presumably but that didn't prevent him from hearing it. "Thank you Hyunjin," he acknowledged civilly, "Mr. Han," he said firmly in a louder voice, "Come, step into my office. We have much to discuss."
