~~~~~ 20 ~~~~~
Bang Chan was currently snapping photos of what had to be the most beautiful human being he's ever beheld. As promised, he was helping Hyunjin build his portfolio to begin his long overdue modeling career. As shy as the man had been when they first started, it had melted away in an instant. Like a butterfly escaping its cocoon, Hyunjin sprang to life suddenly and took flight. "You're a natural," Chan praised, as the younger male adjusted his pose ever so slightly. A simple tilt of the head, but with those "come hither" eyes of Hwang's the combination was lethal.
"Flatterer," his new muse mumbled, but the blushing cheeks gave away his true feelings about Chan's compliment. Chuckling, Chan continued to take photos, occasionally offering suggestions on what his lovely assistant should do next. However when Hyunjin took it upon himself to take off his shirt, he nearly forgot to breathe. "Is...is this okay? I figured they'd want some of these too," Hwang's unsure tone broke Chris out of his shock.
"Yes, it's fine. You've got a great physique so it'll only work to your advantage," He reassured.
The smile Hyunjin gave him was so sweet. There was so much trust in his eyes as well, and inwardly Bang Chan vowed to see to his success personally. The world needed to see this man and be equally blown away by him. Plus whenever Chan sees someone with talent he instinctively wants to nurture it and see it grow. Perhaps that was his creative tendencies at work. The next few poses were far sexier than he imagined. How was it fair that someone who wasn't a professional could already possess such power and allure? If he wasn't already so taken by this man, this particular photo shoot would've sent him over the edge. "Alright, we're all done. I have a feeling these will turn out better than the first ones we took," Chan praised, and the bashful smile on Hyunjin's face made him want to take the man into his arms.
"Thanks again for doing all this, I'm sure you have much better things to do to fill your time," Hyunjin said lightly and Chan shook his head.
He'd been dancing around making his feelings for his assistant more known, but hearing him say something like that just couldn't be ignored. "Actually I don't. And even if I did, I'd still be here. I like spending time with you."
"Oh," the younger man breathed, face flushing as he came up next to him. "What do you like about me Channie?"
That did it. It was meant to be innocent but Bang Chan also had a sneaky suspicion that Hyunjin had some sort of inkling about his attraction. The man wasn't that naive after all. The nickname made him smirk and it was the first drop of formalities between them. "So many things..." he admitted, reaching out to cup his cheek. Their lips joined sweetly, plush mouths pressing together in a needy embrace. But it was over just as quickly as it started and Hyunjin was gazing at him whilst biting his lip. "God, you're lethal," Chris breathed with a laugh, leaning in for a longer, much deeper kiss. Only breaking it to sprinkle longing kisses along his jaw and down his neck.
"I need you Channie," Hyunjin moaned, gripping the back of his head and pulling him back up to his lips.
They kissed lustily, blindly stumbling over to the couch Hyunjin had just been posing on. There was a flurry of movement, discarding clothing at a rapid pace and then their bodies were connected in a delicious, sweet heat. And when it was over, he rolled over in an exasperated huff, nearly falling off the tiny couch which made Hyunjin crack up laughing. "Oh hush you," Chan laughed, rolling his eyes. "You know you're not nearly as innocent as you've been acting."
At this Hyunjin sat up, a coy smile on his face. "Well.... I was trying to be respectful. Not to mention that you're the big boss, I didn't want to seem...you know...."
Chris smiled, cupping his chin and kissing him softly, "I never would've thought that," he reassured him. And it's the truth, in the months they've spent together he's only ever thought highly of Hwang. Just as Minho said, he was beyond proficient as an assistant and then there was the added bonus of Hyunjin's keen sense of style and his talent with photography. Plus he was hilarious, Chan often caught snippets of the young man's commentary whenever he didn't know anyone was listening. And sometimes Hyunjin would give him this tiny smile that made his heart flutter.
"You know it took you long enough," he heard Hwang murmur, smirking when he could feel his assistant's hands on him again. "You don't know how much I wanted you at that party..."
"Same here," Chan confessed, "So let's make up for lost time..."
Eventually they made it out of the office, reluctantly separating to head to their respective homes. Idly, Chan checked his phone, surprised to see a text message from Lee Know. He's been gone a week and Chan wondered if maybe he was finally going crazy over at the farm. It was actually hard to imagine him there, but apparently Mr. Han was worth it. He still didn't know him that well, but he knew that he was talented and if he was Hwang's best friend he knew he had to be a good person. He opened up the message, finding that it was a video instead. The first voice he heard wasn't Minho's but he assumed it was Jisung's if he was remembering correctly. The camera was pointed at Minho who was holding a goat. He had a little embarrassed smile on his face but his eyes twinkled like stars. But Chris could see that he wasn't looking at the camera, but directly behind it. The sight made him smile, he wondered if Minho knew he was in love.
"Minho hyung wants to show off his new skills," the cameraman narrates and Bang Chan watches with an amused grin as his friend starts to milk the goat. All was going well until Minho accidentally squirts milk in his face and the camera wobbles as Han doubles over in a fit of giggles. The video ends and Chan's heart is filled with warmth. He was actually pretty worried about how he was fairing. He didn't know the ins and outs of their relationship but he knew something happened. But the way Minho looked at him and the lighthearted tone in which Han spoke gave him hope. He knew that Lee Know had a difficult time letting people in, but obviously Han was a special case. After all, the man was taking a whole month's vacation just to help him out. He didn't know the details but the Lee Know he knew wouldn't do that for just anyone. And to potentially postpone a line....that was a huge deal.
Before he could muse over this for much longer he got another text, this one was Hyunjin. A photo. Bang Chan nearly choked. "Definitely not innocent."
