raven feels guilty. she isn't positive why she feels that way but she does. and it's completely out of character.she feels guilty that nikki has barely said a word all day. she feels guilty that he had his arms crossed, head down, and sunglasses on all day. she feels guilty when he said he wasn't hungry and would meet them after breakfast or something. she feels guilty that saul has hardly spoken either. she feels guilty when he gets the guns to sit separately from them except steven (who hadn't seen brandon the previous day, opting to talk to his old friend) and duff. she feels guilty every time he sends her a glare from across the isle of the diner.
she can't seem to figure out why this one, of all arguments, makes her feel so damn guilty when she and saul argue all the time. she does realize why she feels guilty about nikki though. but she's not as concerned considering it wasn't like he stopped hooking up with groupies for her or anything like that. she doesn't see why saul is so mad at brandon, they used to be friends in high school.
later that day, as they sit backstage waiting for their time to go on stage, she catches his eye. shes sitting across from him on the opposite couch with her feet propped up on the table. as soon as she makes eye contact, he looks away. she rolls her eyes at his childishness and uncrosses her ankles to tap the tip of her boot along with the zeppelin song stuck in her head. the whole situation is really starting to piss her off.
it seems as though the entire next couple hours pass slower than they normally do, although normally raven is pretty excited to get on stage and therefore the time passes quicker. but today, she wants nothing more than to get on and get off stage so she can confront the little punk that's been bothering her. since they and the guns were the only groups performing today, thankfully it wasn't all three, that just meant less time she had to wait.
but unfortunately for her, when she walks off stage covered in sweat with her t-shirt clinging to her, said punk is nowhere to be found. speaking of which, none of the guns are anywhere to be found. ozzy is bouncing off the walls today with excitement and raven can see in his eyes that he's actually only a bit buzzed with some alcohol and the sight is one that overjoys her. flora has said she was going out with the guns and probably Motley tonight, ozzy and raven both turned down her offer to join. so she disappears off to her dressing room to get ready.
"hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" ozzy asks, grabbing his sister's forearm as she goes to walk out of the building after showering and changing into a pair of grey cuffed sweats, a white tank top, and her blazers. raven turned around with a soft smile on her face, humming in question. ozzy shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans as he sighed before speaking. "im really sorry about how I've been lately. I know I promised you I wouldn't get mixed up in drugs and I did and it-"
