It was raining heavily. The foliages in the forest were drenched. Hira Noor stared out of the tall glass window, her hands clutching the shawl draped over her shoulders in a tight grip. The sky looked menacing, with grey clouds engulfing every trace of sunlight. Hira Noor had never liked rain. It had always made her heart felt uneasy. The electricity wasn't available due to the heavy rain. Now the whole house was shrouded in an eerie darkness. Aaban wasn't home. She was subconsciously waiting for him to come back quickly.

"Doll. Come out. I'm gonna take you with me"
The slithering haunted voice boomed, making Hira Noor lurch. Goosebumps creeped over her skin as she turned around.
A scream tumbled out of her lips as she saw Kabeer khan standing there, in the darkness of the room.
How could it be? Kabeer khan was dead. How was he standing there in front of her?

"You're not real-"
Hira Noor whispered in horror as she took a step back. Kabeer khan's laugh was sickening as he took a step closer to her. Hira Noor screamed as she saw the gunshot holes on his torso. Gooey black tar seeped through the wounds as he stared at Hira Noor menacingly.

"Let's go doll. Let's go together"
Hira Noor cried as she fell on her knees. Her hands hiding her face as she screams loudly but her voice was muted by the thunderstorm outside.

When Aaban came home from his duty as the forest officer. He shrugged off the rain coat and boats. He didn't want to leave Hira Noor alone at the cabin in such bad weather conditions but he had to. Aaban quickly made his way upstairs. Wanting to see if she was alright. His eyes caught sight of Hira Noor in the darkness. sitting on her knees, screaming loudly. He immediately sat on his knees in front of Hira Noor.

"Hira Noor"
Aaban yelled loudly, trying to bring her back to the present, his voice booming in the confines of the room. Hira Noor opened her eyes at the familiar voice, her eyes were crazed as they landed on Aaban. She jumped and hugged him closer, crying in his chest as wails broke through her lips.

"Aaban Sir. He's gonna take me away-"
Hira Noor mumbled against his chest, inhaling the warm scent emanating off of his clothes as she clutched him.

"Noor. Mere jaan there's no one here. Look"
Aaban calmed her down, his hands gently rubbing her back. His heart ached at seeing her this way. So broken, So anguished. She was suffering everyday. His resolve of making her visit the psychologist became even more strong.

"Who is here?"
Aaban questioned gently. He knew he was prying for answers which he probably wouldn't get anytime soon. But he was willing to bet on it.

"Kabeer khan. My baba-"
Hira Noor spoke with terror reflecting her eyes, as if talking about the said person brought her nightmares alive.

"He touched me. He made me dirty. I'm dirty"
Hira Noor screamed as she suddenly started scratching the skin of her face as she wailed loudly but before she could deal any damage. Aaban held her wrist, pulling her closer in his embrace. Calming her down, comforting her.
