2 | love at first sight?

I stared at my watch repeatedly waiting for the needle to hit 12. "How much time is it gonna take?" I asked my best friend, pulling off my shades and tucking it in my front pocket of the suit. We both were dressed in formal suits and stood in front of a school, the REXIN school owned by none other than us; the Malhotras. "Just a few minutes" he replied back.

The bell rang and kids came running out from the opening gates, showcasing the huge white buildings. Veer grinned widely looking at his 4 year old baby boy coming outside holding his teacher's finger bouncing happily. My gaze shifted to his smile which was spread out in a radiating grin and at some point, I thought his cheekbones would break because of smiling too much. I shifted my attention towards the little boy who skipped on the road, my gaze unknowingly being pulled like a magnet colliding with those brown orbs. her?

I felt exposed all of a sudden. I felt vulnerable, as if she could see through the carefully constructed layers around me. But there was no judgment in her gaze, only curiosity and something else I couldn't quite name. I felt a warmth spreading through me, unrelated to the sunlight, as a small, almost imperceptible smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Our silent conversation spoke louder than words ever could, and I managed a hesitant smile in return. Those brown eyes captivated me like they did before. With great effort, I tore my gaze away from her. My heart fluttered as I took a glance of her soft smile making my heart to weird flips.

" Chachu!!"

The 4 year old boy screamed loudly in delight since it was a rare case his 'billionaire busy chachu' came to pick him up, he immediately jumped on him and Aarav gladly picked him up. "Anav baby say bye to your teacher" Veer instructed his son.

Anav looked at her teacher who stood at a distance looking everywhere but at his uncle. "bye bye nini" he giggled.
" Bye little man, have a good day, mister, it was nice meeting you, again," she said with a smile and walked away.

Aarav was constantly staring at the fading figure which sped off. His emotionless face was replaced into a desirable one.

The three of them sat in the car. Aarav on the driving seat, Veer on the passenger and little Anav on the back seat. "Anav, baby tell me about your teacher" Aarav asked the little boy between the conversations, Anav paused for a second and said " you mean nini?" Aarav nodded

" Hmm, nini our care-taker. She is very nice and she also gives me chocolates. But nini is leaving the school. I am very very sad papa, i also asked nini that if someone-"he asked his father in the middle " what is that word papa when we say someone to do this and scare him folc-"

" force baby"

" yes yes i also said nini that if someone have force her i will kick him but she said she has found her prince" he pouted sadly

" Anav is no more nini's prince " the little boy pouted showing his sadness but was distracted by the toy cars.

Meanwhile, someone's hold on the steering wheel tightened, knuckles turning white his eyes screaming only one emotion, his heart filled up with that similar emotion too but he was unaware of what he should name this feeling; it was too foreign for him.

"Have you met her before?" Veer asked away but Aarav remained quiet trying to figure out his feelings.

Avni 

I came home from school. It was now evening since I live in a small town nearby the school. Only one thing overpowered my mind and it was those hazel eyes that disturbed my whole walk. I walked towards the couch and instantly dropped myself on it.
"DADI"  grandmother
"Mera bacha aa gaya" my child is back

My grandmother, my second guardian came out of her room with a sweet smile and quickly went into the kitchen.she emerged after a few minutes with a glass of refreshing orange juice.
"Diiii"

"mera bacha" I picked Sakshi up kissing her whole face.

"what did you do today hm"

"Did you know I made a friend during break time? His name is Anav. You know he is such a good boy he gave me chocolate too and shared his candies with me!" She beamed with happiness.
"Anav singhania ?" I frowned remembering a student in my class.
"i don't know his full name di "

" Beta Samrath will be coming with his family, so get dressed nicely " grandmother informed me, draining all of the colors of my face.

My smile vanished, it wasn't that I didn't like him but something was really off about that guy. He seemed like a playboy of the town since every girl knew him. However she couldn't say anything, it was her fathers's wish and Avni loved her father more than anything. Her trance of thoughts broke, when she felt a wet kiss on her cheek.

" di i don't like him-"
" Who don't you like sakshi?" Viransh who just came back home questioned
" bhaiyyu" sakshi got down from her di's lap and jumped on Viransh who held her.

"Samrat bhai" she told him
Viransh clenched his fist on his name and his face showed pure annoyance and anger. He won't let her marry that fuckboy.

Aarav Malhotra

It has been 4 fucking hours to that incident but god damn that girl wouldnt get off my mind. I feel like being under a magical spell, never in my life have I been this distracted but today i don't know what has happened. I tried and forced myself to engross my attention towards all the files that were piled up, working has always been a great source of distraction for me but ...

Not only had I developed a crush on Anav's teacher but also a feeling that I should claim her, those eyes spoke too much.

'But what did Anav mean by saying that he no longer won't be her prince .. does she have a boyfriend? She doesn't seem like a girl to keep boyfriends. Hmm what if she is ... getting married! Oh god fuck no. Now that I have laid my eyes on her, I won't risk any chances of letting her go.' I smirked logging into my laptop and contacted Sushant, one of my friend's to gather some information since he was pro in all these activities.
