Beep beep! Beep beep!
Jimin rolled over and groaned, reaching for his buzzing phone. Why did he set an alarm again? Today was a Saturday after all. Plus Jimin still didn't have a job after he left the hospital. Groggily he rubbed his eyes and took a closer look at his phone.
"Huh?"
"Wake up! We got things to do today," Hoseok poked his head in the room with a grin. Jimin scrunched his face.
"Did you set an alarm on my phone?" He asked. Hoseok nodded.
"Yep! Remember how you said you wanted to join the dance team?" Hoseok inquired happily. Jimin was still half asleep.
"Mhm..." he confirmed sleepily.
"Well I was thinking today you could check out the dance studio with me. There aren't any classes today but maybe we could use it to practice!" Hoseok explained.
"So you set an alarm on my phone just to tell me that?" Jimin asked, not amused. Hoseok nodded again.
"Well you are staying in my apartment, and that is my couch you're sleeping on, so I feel like it's only fair," he shrugged. Jimin rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Fine," Jimin said, although he definitely still didn't appreciate it.
Ever since he'd escaped the hospital, he'd been staying with Hoseok. He wasn't ready to face his parents just yet, too afraid they'd send him back. It's not like his parents looked for him though, because it wouldn't have been hard to figure out he'd been staying with Hoseok. Jimin actually liked staying with Hoseok quite a bit, but sometimes it didn't work out as nicely as he liked.
Jimin was the kind of person to stay up into the wee hours and then sleep in late. Hoseok on the other hand would go to bed at 9:00 and wake up at 7:00 almost every morning, sometimes even earlier. Jimin must've gotten a total of four hours of sleep last night. Needless to say, he was a bit grumpy.
"Hobi, can't we go out a bit later? I didn't get much sleep," he asked. Hoseok shook his head.
"No, silly! If you want to join the dance team you'll have to work on your skills. You're gonna need all the practice you can get since you didn't get to practice at the hospital," he responded. Jimin whined.
"Okay fine, but can we at least get coffee? I'm exhausted," Jimin complained. Hobi laughed.
"Okay fine. Sounds fun. You get to pick the location!"
The two of them got ready and took the bus to Jimin's favorite cafe. It wasn't a well known cafe, or even in a nice part of town, but it had the best coffee Jimin had ever tried. Jimin and Hoseok surprised each other when they both got the same drink.
"You like Iced Americanos too?" Jimin asked after Hoseok received his order. Hoseok smiled.
"They're my favorite!"
"Mine too," Jimin smiled. The two of them took their coffees and stepped outside the store. Jimin looked across the street and was surprised to see Taehyung in the convenience store across the street. He nudged Hoseok.
"I didn't know Taehyung worked there," he said as he pointed in towards the store. Hoseok looked around for a second before his eyes also locked onto Taehyung.
"Oh yeah, I guess you wouldn't have known. He started working there not long after you were admitted to the hospital," Hoseok explained. Jimin hummed in acknowledgment. Hoseok started walking towards the bus stop again, but he paused when he realized Jimin wasn't following.
