It's September 8th 1968. Today is your first day of 12th grade. Your getting dressed and ready for the day.
Your father is yelling at you to hurry up outside your door his loud raspy voice echoing, your father is a part of the mafia and highly aggressive. your mom was mysteriously slaughtered when you were a young girl. you loved her to pieces and feel part of you is missing without her. he's pounding on your door "hurry the fuck up!!! "
your quickly trying to pack your things and accidentally blurt out " You can wait a fucking minute! " your words come out quicker than your brain was to process it. you quickly freeze and cover your mouth in fear, he kicks the door down and punches you in the shoulder repeatedly causing a large bruise, you quickly finish packing while he's beating you up and run out the house
You quickly make your way to school. you walk into your class just as the bell rings and you sit down in the back next to a young boy with dark eyes, tan skin you sit there admiring him for a second before looking up at the chalk board and paying attention he steals glances at you while paying attention to work answering every question correctly but then the teacher suddenly calls on you.
(Goofy ahh picture 💀)
Your startled as the teacher suddenly calls on you, you look up "what is 130 squared? " he asks Joe leans back in his chair with a smirk, thinking this is gonna be interesting. His sharp wit already analyzing you. "there's no way a girl like her can figure that out" he thinks to himself "the answer to 130 squared is 16,900" you reply quickly, the teacher smiles in appreciation "ah, I see joseph is not the only superior intelligent student in my class" he replies then goes back to teaching.
His eyes widen in shock as the correct answer leaves your lips. He looks at you with newfound respect and curiosity. He wonders how someone with that kind of beauty could also possess such an intelligent mind. His initial smirk softens, replaced by a more genuine look of admiration you feel his eyes burrowing through you and you look over at him "are you gonna say something or just stare at me? " His cheeks flush a little in embarrassment. "Did I get caught?" He chuckles to himself and then looks at you seriously. "You know I gotta admit, I didn't think a pretty little thing like you had such a smart mind."
