For quite some time now, Sabrina has developed feelings for you.You both have been close friends and eventually her feelings turned into something more the more time she spent with you. Luckily for her, you started gaining the same feelings in return, but whether or not she felt the same, you weren't going to be the first to make a move.
Any time you're together, you often catch the other staring before quickly looking away and pretending like nothing happened. Sabrina was shy, but you were more shy than her or anyone else you know. Back in your school days, you remember clearly that whenever the teacher had picked on you to answer a question, your face would turn beet red as you were afraid to give the wrong answer and get laughed at. Sabrina was open to Taylor about her feelings for you, and she's the one to advise her that she confess.
Taylor's reason was that you had a right to know, and if anyone found out, it would be better to hear it from Sabrina then from anyone else.
Sabrina agreed.
So one night, she was at a bar with some friends, and that's when she decided to confess to you. But the catch was, she was going to do it over a text message. With her friends there to support her, Sabrina found it easier to have the courage to do so. Believe it or not, it took Sabrina about thirty minutes to type the whole text because of how her thumbs were shaking from nerves. The text was simple, yet the most honest she's ever sent anyone.
Text message:
"Hey. I know we're becoming better friends than we have been. I just feel like I owe it to myself to get this out. (Y/n), I do have feelings for you, and I'm really nervous to tell you this. And by this, I'm not asking you to return these feelings, I'm not asking you to be anything more than what you are to me, I'm not asking you to be my girlfriend, none of that. I have to be honest with you. I think about you, a lot. All the time, actually. In the morning, at night, the middle of my day. It's just you. It's always you. I wanna be the one to make you so happy, to the point where you can't stop smiling sometimes, and I really wanna make you feel really loved so you don't have to doubt anything for a second. As I keep learning new stuff about you, I want to prove how incredible I think you are."
Sabrina's thumb shook as she hit send, staring at her phone screen until the message was delivered.
There it was, her confession. Now all she had to do was wait and hope that you might return those feelings.
Little did she know was, it would be worth the wait.
