05: "𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦"

Chloe stood in the kitchen. She knew how her head was a mess over things especially as she knew that she had sex with Freddie. She knew all that they had been through in the past and she knew what she had been through and she knew how she was happy. She knew that she had her girls and even though she didn't know what was going on with her and Freddie she knew that she was trying to make whatever that she and Freddie had as she knew that he had gone to jail protecting her and that was something she couldn't repay

Chloe looked to see Lillie as she asked into the kitchen "and what time do you call this" Chloe asked as Lillie looked to her and rolled her eyes

"I'm up aren't I?" Lillie said as Chloe turned to face her and raised an eyebrow at her

"Do you want try that again with a bit of less attitude teenager or not I an your mum" Chloe said as Lillie looked to her and sighed

"Sorry I didn't sleep that well. What's going on with you and dad I know that you had sex with him as gross as it is" Lillie said as Chloe turned to face her and sighed

"I don't know I need to talk to your dad over it and before I decide on anything I need to do what is best for you and your sister as if we do decide to get back together I want to make sure it's the best for you two as well. Just so you know I didn't want you to hear us" Chloe said

"I heard it enough as a kid mum I'm just as traumatised and just so you know if it means you being happy lexi and I don't have a problem over it all" Lillie said as Chloe looked to her and smiled

Chloe stood walked Lexi to school and smiled as she looked to her

"Are you glad that you are getting to know your dad?" Chloe asked

"Yeah. You know how you're not the mum who carried me? Bug is he my real dad" Lexi asked as Chloe smiled

"I know how our family is communicated but he's your real and only dad. He made you and he also made Lillie" Chloe said as lexi looked to her and smiled

"I like him he's funny. You smile more when he is around. I wish that you were my real mum though"

"Lex, I didn't give birth to you and I didn't create you but that doesn't change a thing as I am your real mum I know it confuses you but in here I am your mum I raised you and right you right from wrong. I taught you to read, ride a bike and play football and it's not been easy but that is okay as life is hard and we have a complicated family it I love you so much and I am your mum and nothing is going to change that" Chloe said as lexi looked to her and smiled

"I'm glad that your my mum. Lillie says you and dad are getting together we can be a real family with a mum and dad" Lexi said as Chloe smiled

"Lillie has a big mouth. I don't know what is going on with your dad and me right now but no matter what we are a family and your dad are going to do what is best for you and your sister okay" Chloe said as Lillie looked to her and nodded

Chloe knew how she just wanted to do what was best for them both

Chloe stood walking through the village as she was grabbed and pulled to the side as she looked to see Freddie

"You have been avoiding my calls" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"No I have t I just haven't had time to call you back. I had a meeting at Lexi school" she said as he looked to her

"Is everything okay?" He asked as she smiled

"Yeah just some stupid boy picking on her. They found out over Lindsay and are bullying her I have tried to protect her from it but she's almost eight and how to you shield an eight year old from the fact her mum was a serial killer all that she'd have to do is google her to find out the truth" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"You know how hard on yourself that you are. You're not in this alone I am here for you and I am here to help even if it's the hard conversations like this for them. We can do this together Chloe let me in. Look I know all that has happened in the past but it wasn't just sex the other night it was us rekindling us as I know what we have been through in the past Chloe but I want you back I want us to be a family" he said as she looked to him in the eyes

"It scares me you broke my heart when you fell in love with Lindsay" Chloe said as he hung his head in shame

"I know and now I know it wasn't love but really. I know it scares you but is it love if it doesn't scare you?" He asked as she smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he looked to her

"This isn't just over us anymore Fred okay. We have two girls who have gone seven years without you and they need you okay. Before we decide on anything you need to be a dad first" she said as he nodded

"And I will be but you should know that your the love of my life, you always were" he said as she looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek and smiled knowing that they needed to work on his relationship with his girls before they even got back together

But with how things were between the two of them would it really be that simple?
