Sean walks inside to Daniel playing the air guitar while jumping up and down to a song playing on the television. You jumped playing the drums.
Sean: Are you kidding me?
Daniel: Remember that song?! Come on! Dance!
Sean hesitated before looking at you looking at him.
You: cmon!
Sean joins Daniel and you on the bed.
Sean: Oh man! We haven't played Guitar Fighter for years!
Daniel: You never beat my score!
Sean: You played on Easy Mode. I was on Hardcore, dude!
Daniel: You're so jealous! I'm the best guitar player!
Mushroom barks along happily as you, Sean and Daniel dance on the bed. Sean grabbed your hand and you two started to jump around the bed. Sean smiled along with you as you two look into each other's eyes. Sean lets go of your hands and eventually steps off the bed and turns off the TV.
Sean: Daniel... Come here. We need to talk.
Daniel sits down on the bed. You were gonna jump off the bed, but Sean immediately wraps his arms around your legs and put you down making you roll your eyes.
Sean always was the one to make sure you got down safely, even if you could do it by yourself. Sean laughs at your face as he puts his hand on your [hair texture] hair. You pushed his hand off him and walked off.
Daniel: Can we get a drink first? I'm thirsty...
Sean: Right now?
Daniel: You said I could have a coke... or something...
Sean narrows his eyes as you shrugged.
You: hey, if he said you said it. Then you said it. [smug look before it faltered] I mean I can go get it for you bro—
Immediately Sean shook his head as you tried to walk pass him. Leaving him to have his arm hooked around your waist to stop you.
Sean: Okay. We'll get you a soda. But when we come back... we're going to talk. Serious.
Daniel: Fine... What's the big deal?
Sean and you leave to buy a soda from the vending machine.
"You're gonna tell him the truth aren't you..." you say with a somber look. "Yeah.." sighing you leaned against a wall. "Sean—" "he has to know. Okay?" Sean immediately faces you which made you nod. "Alright. Just make sure it's nice and calm. Not too forward yknow? Don't want to hurt him." Sean only nods.
The lights on the landing begin to flicker. Sean pays the money. Sean walks up to you as the light flickers again. Sean opens his mouth to speak before something interrupted him.
Daniel (from afar): DAD!
Sean & you: Daniel!
You both run back to the room. The lights are flickering and the scene is in chaos.
Sean: Oh fuck!
You: What the hell!
Daniel is standing with clenched fists in front of the TV, the screen glowing. The bed has been pushed to one side and Mushroom is in the corner, cowering. The work desk and chair have tumbled over, stuff is flying around the room and the lights are going haywire.
You: Oh my God... Daniel...?!
Sean: What is happening?! Daniel, calm down!
Daniel looks back at Sean with an infuriated expression and teary eyes. Mushroom is barking in fear. Stuff continues to fly around the room.
