Michelle's POV
I took a deep breath before starting to run again. Sweat began to form on my forehead, but I paid it no mind.

Sasabihin na di kailangan♪I hummed along to the song as I ran, letting the melody seep into my bones. The music heightened the beauty of the scenery and the emotions I felt. I can't feel any tiredness doing it, I just felt carefree.

I took off one of my AirPods and smile to greet her a good morning, but as expected, she didn't bother doing the same and just continued walking while holding a bucket.
I licked my lower lip as I watched her passed me like an air, napailing na lang ako roon at muling tatakbo nang matigilan.
"Thanks for what you did to the bathroom!" I called out, raising my voice just enough to make sure she could hear me across the distance.
Again, she's not fond of verbally responding, except when Tita Cate is the one who's talking to her.
It's been a week since I got here and for those days, laging namamatay ang ilaw kapag lumulubog na ang araw.
Since Jov is such a good, caring, kind, and considerate person to someone like me who's afraid of dark, she recycled a mini flashlight. Like a converter but hers is a different version.
She did it without saying anything.

I flashed a sweet smile as Nanay Ayen greeted me cheerfully the moment she saw me.
"Magandang umaga rin po, Nanay Ayen."
I completely turned off my music and took off both of my AirPords before answering her. Now, I now getting familiar with these people and how they live.
I tilt my head to the side. The idea of waiting for your husband or wife after a long, tiring day and welcoming them with a bright smile is the purest and gentlest kind of love. What a good life for those people who save time for this kind of gesture. This is what they call home.
