CHAPTER 29

Zhan took a deep breath before starting to speak.

"3 months have passed since I left you, I suddenly realized that I can't raise our child alone, I'm just a student, I don't have a stable job and not to mention that I'm struggling to support myself, so I decide to come back to you. But before I planned to go back I messaged you, but I didn't get a reply from you, I said to myself maybe you are still mad at me. After a few hours I called but no one answered.

The next morning, instead of calling you, I went straight to your house and if you're angry, I'll apologize.

When I got off the taxi, I saw CX smiling at me, then suddenly I remembered that I met her before when I was with you, even though she was a bit not okay with me, I just didn't pay attention to that. Maybe she's just too protective of you, after all she's your friend. Back to the topic.

She greeted me with a smile and I did the same to her, After a while I asked her where you were. She said you're in the company, I was surprised because it was 6am in the morning, however since she is your friend I believed her.

She volunteered to take me to your company and I agreed, while we are on the way.  I thought why we were taking a different road then I asked her, she said we will buy food before going because it looks like I haven't eaten yet. Just a minute later, I suddenly lost consciousness and woke up in an empty room, my feet were tied and my mouth was covered with tape.

I'm not sure, but maybe one day no one came to that room even though I heard footsteps, I couldn't scream because my mouth was covered. Do you know that I was so scared at that time even though I knew you couldn't hear me I silently wished you would come to save me

I cried and cried."

Flashback.

"Baby, just hold on, we'll see daddy. We'll get through this" Zhan cried and didn't realize that he fell asleep, but he was suddenly woken up by someone pouring cold water on him.

When Zhan saw who poured water on him, his eyes widened. "Cheng Xiao" Zhan said without a voice.

CX smiled at him then bent down to remove the tape from Zhan's mouth.

"Why are you doing this?" First question that came out of Zhan's mouth. CX laughed like crazy.

"The first time I saw you I didn't like your face and it got worse when I found out you were Yibo's Boyfriend. Do you know that I did a lot to make him love me more than a friend but he couldn't do it, and you came into our lives, looking like a rag, but despite being like a rag, he loved you so much, while I've done everything but he still can't love me as much as I love him" CX said and slapped Zhan hard causing his lips to bleed and he was shivering because of the cold water that CX poured on him.

Zhan: "If he doesn't love you, why are you forcing yourself on him, why can't you be satisfied with just what he can give you?"

"Did I tell you, that you can talk?" CX asked and slapped Zhan again, before Zhan could recover from the slap, Cheng Xiao pulled him by the hair towards the bathroom while his hand was still tied.

"Have mercy CX stop this." Zhan begged as CX pulled him. CX tortured Zhan for three days without feeding him. "Give it to me god, I will ask for nothing more than the safety of my baby" Zhan prayed silently.

"I promise, if I survive here I will make sure you'll pay for this CX" Zhan tears streaming down his cheeks, his face is full of bruises his clothes are torn and wet. He feels that at any moment he will lose consciousness but he tries to strengthen himself for their son. "Yibo, I regret leaving, if something bad happens to our son I will never forgive myself, is this my punishment for leaving you despite you being good to me." Zhan asked himself in tears.

After CX tortured Zhan for three days, he sold him on the black market.

And the person who bought Zhan is, or in other words, she gave Zhan to the masked man.

At first that man was kind to him, but when he found out that Zhan was pr@g@ant he tortured him causing him baby to almost m@sc@rry

The masked man's men are includes. Yang², Bowen, Darren and Zanjin. They saw how Zhan was tortured and they had been planning to leave this group for a long time but they didn't have the courage because they were afraid

When they saw Zhan, they felt sorry for him after they found out that he was pr@g@ant.

Yang² approached the fainting Zhan. Zhan trembled avoiding Yang². "Don't be afraid, we're not bad people," Yang said calmly.

"We'll run away tonight and we'll take you with us" Yang² whispered. Zhan suddenly felt hopeful and Zhan grabbed Yang²'s hand. "Thank you very much, I will do everything to get out of here" Zhan said determinedly.

At night, they properly prepared the things they needed to escape without anyone noticing them, but when they left the gate of the mansion, someone noticed them, so before they could escape completely, they being shot until Zhan bled and lost conscious and Zanjin was hit by a bullet that was supposed to be for Zhan.

Fortunately, they took Zhan to a small hospital and Zhan's bleeding was stopped and the b@by was safe

After Zhan g@ve b@rt@, he started training to do everything he could to get revenge on the people who almost killed him and his baby, while he was finishing his doctorate. They were sidelined as assassins because they were paid a huge of money for every person they knocked down. After the he experienced it as if he had become a different person. "In the world we live in if you keep your innocence and rely on other people, you will be abused in the end and the worst will be killed, so that I can survive this life and protect my child I have to learn to fight" Zhan's thought.

After Zhan told everything to Yibo.Yibo only wanted to do one thing at this time but to kill. He hugged Zhan tightly and couldn't help but cry. "Forgive me, if I'm not by your side while you're going through this, but I can tell you one thing, whatever they do to you, I'll give them back triple" Yibo suddenly remembered what Zhan said that he called.

Yibo loosened from Zhan's embrace. "I swear I haven't received a message from you, if there is I'm sure I won't miss it because since you left I haven't stopped looking for you" Zhan wiped Yibo's tears. "I know" That's all Zhan said and Yibo burst into tears. "I'm sorry, if I hadn't slept that night and waited for you to wake up I would have been able to explain to you all and this wouldn't have happened" Yibo apologized while crying.

"She will pay for it, until she regrets living!"
