4. Stellarite

With the meteor mineral now in my hands, I knew that someone would steal it from me. It could be Toxion Lab or someone else. Tonight I rushed back home with a heavy escort guard. I'll keep it in my safe.

When I got home, I had a dinner of wontons and chilli oil, made by Auntie Fen. As I was enjoying it, the power went out in my house for about two minutes. I didn't have a good feeling at that time, whether someone wanted to sneak into my house. I finished my meal quickly, and went to my room on the second floor.

But... Suddenly when I got to my room, I heard a noise on the ground floor, my heart beat faster, I assumed it was Toxion. I quickly put the stellarite into my safe. Then I ran quickly to close the glass door to my room's terrace.

My eyes widened, the blue-eyed man was blocking the glass doorknob I was holding. "You?"

My hands were shaking, and without thinking, I headed towards the exit of my room. Zayn called out to me, but I didn't care about him, I wanted to meet my other aides.

I picked up the gun on the desk and before I could open the door, Jian Lin walked into my room. They were now on my right and left.

"Rui Zhu, your name is Rui Zhu, right?" said Zayn, stepping towards me.

"Shut up! You guys stay where you are, don't come near me!" I pointed my gun at them.

I saw my aide coming to help me, but Jian Lin quickly closed my bedroom door and locked it.

"Rui Zhu, calm down. I want to talk to you nicely," Jian Lin said.

"You came into my house like thieves! Do you want this stellarite? Cowards!" I said loudly and pointed my gun at them.

"This is very important Rui, we really need this mineral, the President told us to," said Jian Lin.

"Which president told you to steal other people's property?" I asked in surprise. Suddenly Zayn grabbed my arm behind my back, causing the gun to slip from my grasp and fall to the floor. I tried to resist, but his strength was too great. I couldn't move, his hands held my arms behind my back. He looked into my eyes so closely. I saw his blue eyes again.

"You are in danger, Toxion will steal it from you, they will make a dangerous chemical weapon," Zayn said in a low tone and looked at me. Meanwhile, Jian Lin was looking for where I put the stellarite.

"Then what's the difference with you? You stole it from me too."

Jian Lin searched where I kept the stellarite. He found a safe and opened it. Taking my small bag that said Histocrat Auction. I don't know why he was able to open my safe so easily.

"How did you open it? You don't know the password," I said in surprise.

I heard my aide trying to break down my bedroom door. "Take a look at this for you, read it and do it for your own safety after this, so Toxion doesn't look for you again," Zayn said after handing me the black box he took out of his coat pocket.

"You guys really took it from me?" I could hardly contain my sadness, my tears almost falling. What if they took the stellarite from me. My dream and my parents all this time to do this research must stop.

"Sorry Rui," said Zayn Rix then they left me alone in the room. I pulled at his clothes as he ran away from me. But I couldn't hold him back and I fell down. They both looked back at me and saw me.

Seeing that my aide had managed to break down my bedroom door, Jian Lin locked my terrace door from outside the room, and then the two of them walked away. At that moment, I spontaneously said to my aide. "Get out of my room, I'll handle this myself."

I opened the black box Zayn had given me. The object inside was an imitation stellarite that was exactly the same shape and size as the real thing. "What does that mean?" I muttered to myself.
