I couldn't remember how long i'd been running for just that the sun was finally starting to peak between the mountains and that my father wouldn't be able to catch me for awhile but that didn't matter to me right now all that mattered was that I was free from the chains that binded me and now I could finally live on my own even if I lived in constant fear but who wasn't it was Jubwal the largest magic continent on earth that means constant danger of magic, thieves, and evil mages who were seduced by greed. I continued down the path of dirt in a forest damn I'm hungry.

Speak of the devil how was I supposed to get food now I have no money!! Well i guess I could join a circus or do some magic tricks on the street.... NOPE the image of me in a clown nose started creeping into my mind before I walked straight into a brick building.

"ouch!" I said under my breath before looking up at the gigantic tower in front of me, towers and vines spread every direction and I openly gaped a the beautiful building that seemingly appeared right in front of me. It varied between dirty grey and brown bricks up its walls as vines and greenery filled every inch of it with a mystical ancient aura and as i slowly looked up I took in the view of the multi layered castle with gargoyle statues perched on the balconies and pouted roofs that twisted and varied in size for each of the separate towers.
"how did I even miss that?" "More like how did it miss you i swear that old geyser does it on purpose" the most gorgeous being to ever graze my sorry eyes smirked down at me. The boy in a white button up with rolled up sleeves and slacks began walking up to me his black curly hair tussling in the wind as his hazel eyes squinted down at me. Even though he looked around my age he was way taller than me and that only seemed to fuel the red embarrassment pouring to my cheeks. That little shit how could he laugh at me!
"Where did that thing come from and why am I being targeted" I ask exasperated the boy smirk only grew as his face got closer to mine "the old perv was probably looking for his next victim but I guess you could also call it student" he said a twinge of mischief behind his eyes and growing smile.
"I know I'm good looking but no need to get so silent" he said smiling so brightly it hurt and blessed my eyes at the same time. Cocky little bastard. "Don't be so confident who says I'm just quiet cause I'm too distracted by your shiny forehead?" I said smiling as he laughed "It's okay I know simple minded creatures like you get distracted by shiny things" he says laughing at his own joke that kinda made me crack up a bit but could you blame me his laugh was just so contagious.
"should't you be explaining why this towers here or are you having too much fun laughing at your own jokes?" I said waiting for him to explain why I just got attacked by a brick wall.
