Mingyu
I rock on my balls of my feet, a weird nervousness building up in my guts as I wait by the entrance of my apartment complex, the guard looking at me suspiciously from time to time everytime he passes by me, and it's definitely weird. I've this urge to ask him what his problem is, but decide against it when a black car comes to a halt in front of me.
The windshield rolls down, revealing the Jeon Wonwoo in a casual outfit embracing his perfect body, okay maybe that's a bit too casual, a black t-shirt with a pair of joggers, his bangs falling over his forehead unlike the last time, slicked back, revealing his forehead and the looks complete with his glasses, still damn perfect.
But right now I feel overdressed, a denim jacket, a black tank underneath it with a pair of jeans, but at least it's not flashy. But how the hell I'm supposed to know he would wear this simple.
"Are you getting in or not?" he scrunches his face, but a smirk soon blossomed in those rosy lips. "Or the Daddy needs princess treatment now?"
"Fuck you!" I grumble under my breath, pointedly avoiding his gaze as I get into the passenger seat, his body tremors as he tries not to laugh in my misery.
"Fasten the seat belt," he scrunches his face adorably, he effortlessly looks cute. "But for your information, I'm actually older than you by a year."
"Really!" he doesn't look like though, he starts the car, my apartment complex already looks far away.
"Yes, Dad-dy." Oh my god! I don't think he's going to forget it anytime soon.
"Stop it!" I cry out, pleading to free myself out of my misery. "I promise I wasn't in my right mind. I was drunk!"
He laughs. He looks pretty, laughing like that. "You argued though that you're sober."
"You know I wasn't," I argue. "Please, Won. Just this once." It slipped out of my lips, I didn't mean to call him by any nickname, but it's too late when it's already hanging in the air.
"Okay," he shrugs, but his breathy voice and the slight tint on his cheeks gives him away, maybe I should continue to call him Won or maybe something else that comes to my mind along the way.
It doesn't take us long to reach the shopping mall, I meet with the elder Jeon, she's a fine lady, enjoying her forties to the fullest, a blinding smile that lits up every corner wherever she goes. As for Somi, she's actually a nice witty lady, a perfect balance of beauty & brain.
"Hello, Mr. Handsome Hunk" was the first thing she greeted me, momentarily making me speechless.
"Don't make him uncomfortable, Somi." And thanks to Mrs. Jeon I'm still in one piece. As for Wonwoo he's tuned off every little thing out of his system, plugging earbuds in his ear, leaving me alone in this formal conversation.
"C'mon, oppa!" Somi pulls me towards a store, Mrs. Jeon & Wonwoo following behind. I scan the store, nice interior decorated in cream & off-white, wedding dresses & suits lining up in the corners. "You both should choose your suits for the pre-wedding shoot."
"Pre-wedding shoot?" I inquire, Wonwoo didn't tell me about it.
"Of course, duh," she dramatically rolls her eyes before tugging at my arm, a small smile adorning her thin lips. "Wedding is a once in a lifetime thing. So, you gotta do everything you can in it, don't you?"
I nod, looking over my shoulder to find Wonwoo skimming through the suits with little to no interest, it's funny seeing him lost in his mind, cute at the same time. I've never given so much thought in wedding before, but listening to her I think I should give it some thought since it's for me as well as Wonwoo.
By the way, when's the wedding?
We've already selected a few suits, more like Somi selected on Wonwoo's behalf since my guy was too much invested in casual suits, okay not my guy but somehow he's mine. We both somehow gotten in an argument about who's going to wear the black in the wedding like two toddlers fighting over candy. Thanks to Mrs. Jeon and Somi, it died down faster.
So, in conclusion Wonwoo will be wearing black suit in our pre-wedding shoot and I'll be wearing black suit in our wedding. Yup, Wonwoo, it's a payback for teasing me about that.....ugh-whatever!
"I guess you boys must be exhausted accompanying us ladies for so long," Mrs. Jeon claps her hand, spinning on her pivot to look back at us.
"No_no, aunty. It's ok _ouf." What the hell is that for! You can't just go around and elbow someone out of the blue!
"Yeah, mom," he smiles as if they already didn't notice you elbowing me! "How about I drive Mingyu home?"
"What? Of course not," she glares at her son, Somi trying to stifle her laughter standing behind her as she clamps her hand over her mouth. "Mingyu will be joining us for dinner, remember?"
And why am I not aware of the dinner plan where I'm included. Excuse me! Jeon Wonwoo!
"How about you both just go around on your own until dinner? Dad will be here by that time," Somi suggests, a sly smile making its way onto her face as he presses her palm on Mrs. Jeon's shoulder and she suddenly beams, "Yeah, that certainly sounds nice."
"Wonwoo, take good care of Mingyu," she warns, but her suggestive tone gives her away and even before I can protest anymore she literally runs out off our sight, dragging Somi along with her, waving her hand over her shoulder with a "have fun!"
"So, what's with the dinner thing?" I ask, catching up with Wonwoo who's taking long stride ahead of him -of course to the opposite side of his mother- as if I don't even exist. "Why am I not aware of it?"
"Why?" he finally looks at me, batting his lashes under his glasses, leaning in my personal space. Damn! he's long curvy lashes. "Is daddy scared now?"
"Stop it already," I whine, my face feels hot not only with just this whole daddy thing but also with this close proximity between us. He's sooo....close!
He laughs, straightening himself as he tucks his earplugs in his pocket before looking back at me. "I tried to tell someone but he hung up the call on my face," his eyes narrows in a challenging manner and I gulp involuntarily.
"I'm sorry, okay! Please let me live," I beg his mercy, clasping my hands to show him how desperate I'm for his forgiveness. His smirk widens to the point I want to rub that off his pretty face, that sounds- weird but that's what I want to do. "Do you want me to kneel?"
"Sounds even better, you know," he winks. This guy is going to be the end of me.
"That's what you want. Okay, here I go-" There goes your big boy image, Kim Mingyu! Let's fasten your seatbelt because your going to crash right into his feet.
"Hey!! I was just joking," he panics, pulling my arm before I can fully kneel on the floor of a shopping mall filled with people who are staring at me, well us.
"So....I'm forgiven?" I wiggle my brow at him, he huffs but a smile adorns his lip as he pushes me off himself.
"Yeah, whatever," he mutters, walking away. "Just don't do something stupid in a public place from now on."
I catch him up in a second as I slid my arm around his shoulder. "So, it's okay as I long as it's private?" I tease and his cheeks flush red and it soon reaches his neck.
cute!
