8. The Uncertainty

Jungkook was happy for his Yoongi Hyung that he finally found his mate. But he couldn't be happy for him wholeheartedly when Yoongi had his own doubts for him not having the unbearable urge to mark Hoseok as his mate !

And other than that, the heartbreaking sight of the forest being destroyed, the harmless trees which provided them shelter, food and other things lay broken  on the ground.

The innocent animals who were their friends and companion on their home, lay dead in the pool of their own blood beneath the trees !

That sight was haunting Jungkook and he just couldn't close his eyes. Whenever he did; the innocents were confronting him for their untimely death when, they weren't at all at fault.

They were just enjoying their day and were gonna return to their family at evening; but they could never now !

Jungkook couldn't stop his guilty tearsno matter how hard he tried to !

He was getting exhausted between his guilt of killing the innocents and the fear of what the Wolf Council would decide for him ?

And so, after causing the destruction, Jungkook decided to cage himself inside his chamber and never come out.

He just hoped the council won't take the decision for his execution; though he knew the chances were very thin !

" Gyu, don't you think we should spent time with uncle Kookie ? He is looking so sad always and never comes out of his Chamber.

Appa and Papa have tried to get him to step out but he just refuses always ! I am not liking it. "

Kai said to his twin, pouting sadly.

" Yes, you are right. But uncle Kookie isn't letting anyone inside his Chamber so, how can we help him ? "

Beomgyu said agreeing with his twin.

" Let's ask Uncle Yoongi to help ? "

Kai said excited.

" Uncle Kookie won't even open his Chamber even for him ! "

Gyu said sadly.

" Gyu, Kai lets go and play ! "

Some pup from the pack took them to play with the other pups.

Here Jungkook was sitting inside his Chamber all alone cursing at himself.

" I am never ever gonna step outside my Chamber no matter what. I won't even meet Joonie and Jinnie hyung. And definitely not Beomgyu and Kai.

What if, I hurt them ? No no, I won't be able to forgive myself if, I hurt them ! "

Jungkook was talking to himself standing at his chamber's window.

He looked outside the window and once again saw the huge destruction he have  caused.

It wasn't something small. He had destroyed almost half of the forest. Their home, their shelter !

The news of the destruction won't take long now to spread and reach to the council.

Though Head Alpha of the council, Alpha Taecyeon was Namjoon's very good friend; but he wasn't a biase one !

Every criminal held the same place in his eyes.

He was the one who had chased away and hunted down many of the rogue wolves creating nuisance in their community.

He didn't even spare his own only Alpha son; who was supposed to take over the pack after him.

His son had stormed out to the human habitat and killed many human women during his rut.
