In the silence where shadows grow deep,
Where anguish and fury silently seep,
A heart once broken, now stands tall,
Seeking justice through vengeance's call.
You wrote of torment, pain, and despair,
In a world of cruelty, so stark and bare,
The law may falter, its promise frail,
But revenge, you believe, will prevail.
Letters exchanged, a plea so raw,
For justice that bends not to law's draw,
In the darkest night, a spark ignites,
To confront the demons of the sleepless nights.
Though vengeance burns with a fierce flame,
Its path is twisted, no simple claim,
Yet in this fight, you forge ahead,
For justice, for peace, for tears once shed.
A promise made in shadows cast,
To right the wrongs of a haunted past,
In the quest for retribution's right,
You'll find your way through the long, dark night.

Chapter 16: Echoes of Retribution
y/n's POV
The days felt like a relentless blur, each one merging into the next with a painful monotony. My life, once filled with mundane routines and fragile dreams, had shattered into a million jagged pieces. The trauma of the past weeks clung to me like a second skin, making every breath feel heavy, every heartbeat a reminder of my suffering. I had been waiting for a response from Ahn Hye-jin with a desperation that bordered on madness. Her promise of understanding and her reputation for fighting injustice were my only beacons of hope in this sea of darkness.
The arrival of Ahn Hye-jin's letter was my last thread of hope. Each moment I waited for the mail felt like an eternity. I imagined what she might say—would she offer the solace I needed, or would she suggest I leave me alone ?? The notion of involving the police seemed both comforting and terrifying. I knew that seeking justice through them could mean facing my tormentors in court, but I was equally terrified of not achieving the vengeance I so desperately craved.
When the letter finally arrived, its presence seemed almost surreal. My trembling hands fumbled with the envelope, my heart racing with anticipation. As I unfolded the letter, the words of Ahn Hye-jin would be the only thing standing between my desire for vengeance and the possibility of moving forward from this harrowing chapter of my life.
Dear Y/N,
I hope this letter finds you in a place of some solace, though I know the journey ahead is fraught with pain and uncertainty. I am deeply moved by the courage you showed in writing to me, sharing your harrowing experience. It's not easy to relive such trauma, but your bravery is the first step toward reclaiming your life.
