"Uh, this is reversible, right- OH! Oh... Hey, you're being careful down there, right? Whoa. Ooh! Yep, that's cold!"
Early in the morning, Dusty is making a lot of noise in the hangar, while Franz, Chupacabra, and Kevin are waiting for him at the door. And at that moment, Xross comes.
"Kevin!" Xross shouts, and Kevin turns around in surprise. "Why are you still here?! Robin and Lena are already in Siddeley! There's no time, hurry!"
"You know this blue guy?" Franz asks,
"Sort of." Chupacabra answered.
"Well, you'll see about this." Kevin says calmly, "Wha...?" Xross looks bewildered.
And just then, the hangar door opens and Dusty comes out.

His appearance is shown with the sprayer underneath him removed, with stripes of sky blue paint over orange paint, and the racer number 7 mark written on it.
"So..." Suddenly he speaks in a high pitch, clearing his throat. "Um... so, what do you think?"
"Wunderbar, Dusty!" Franz exclaims in amazement, "Fantastico!" Chupacabra laughs joyfully, "Oh la la!" Kevin's eyes sparkle, and Xross stands in silent amazement.
"Is it freeing, yes?" asks the Chupacabra.
"Yeah, you took the words right out of my mouth." Dusty replied cheerfully.
"C'mon, what are you waiting? Let's go fly!" Kevin asks expectantly.
"Okay!" Dusty replied happily.
And he's flying very excitedly and happily, and he's more natural and faster than last time. And Fran- I mean Von, Chupacabra, and Kevin are flying with him. In addition, Xross is very surprised and bewildered when he sees them.
"Bye-bye, sprayer! Thanks for everything, Franz- Er... Von Fliegenhozen!" Dusty says gratefully.
"Good luck, Herr Dusty!" Von cheers him on.

During Leg 3 from Germany to India, a racer suddenly falls from the sky with his engine exploding.
