"So, Elijah said that you need to live a day as a human and then you will get the cure?" Aurora asks taking another sip of her drink. "Yes, no vampire perks, just as a human." Rebekah says and Aurora nods. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure." "Why did you decide to go back too school, the real reason?" Rebekah asks and Aurora sighs.

"When Kol died all I did was be in my room. I needed the distraction, and I want to make my mom proud, she would've want me to graduate. Besides, I'm already not going to college, so at least I can finish high school. And, what is better than going to prom and graduating high school with my best friends? But what would make iy even better if Kol was here right now. Speaking of which, I need to talk to you about that but it'll come later. Now let's enjoy prom, and find our other friend."

Aurora is drinking her drink as Damon approaches with his drink. "Bored?" He asks. "Yep." "Wanna dance?" "No thank you." "Well that's the first time I heard a girl say no to dancing." Damon says. "There is only one person I should be dancing wiht right now and he's not here. So then I rather not dance at all."

Klaus and Aurora are walking through the streets of New Orleans. Klaus got a letter from Katherine saying that there is a witch, Jane-Anne Deveraux, planning a move on Klaus. Aurora didn't have anything better to do anything and she thought this might be the chance to see more witches.

"Good afternoon, time for one more?" Klaus asks a fortune teller. "I have nothing to say to you." "Oh that's not very amiable is it? You don't even know me." Klaus says. "I know what you are, half avmpire, ha;f beast, Yoou're the hybrid." The woman says. "I am the original hybrid, actually but that's a long story for another time." Klaus says.

"I'm looking for someone, a witch, perhaps you might be able to help me find her. Jane-Anne Deveraux." Klaus says and the owman looks awkard. "Sorry I don't know." Okay she is definitely lying, Aurora thinks. "Well now that's a fib isn't it? Now you see, I know that you're a true witch amongst this sea of posers so enough with the fabrications, I've got quite the temper." "Witches don't talk out of school in the Quarter. The vampire won't allow it. Those are the rules, I don't break Marcel's rules." "Marcel's rules." Klaus repeats. "Where do you suppose I might find Marcel?" Klaus asks.

"Well this is quite the city, I thought Mystic Falls was full of suoer antural, but I think this might be the super natural city." Aurora says and Klaus chuckles. "Well it certainly has chanegd a lot since the last time I was here." "So about that witch, Jane-Anne, why exactly do you think Katherine is speaking the truth?" "Katerina is desperate." Klaus answers. "Right. So who is this Marcel?" Aurora asks. "He is." Klaus says looking in the direction of a guy singing.

"Klaus." "Marcel." "Must be a hundred years since that nasty business with your papa." Marcel says. "Has it been that long?" "The way I recall it, he ran you out of town. Left a trail of dead vampires in his wake."  Well you can certainly feel the tension in the room, Aurora thinks.

"And yet how fortunate you managed to survive. My father, I'm afraid, I recently incinerated to dust." Klaus says and all the vampires get up. "Well if I'd known you were coming back in town I had.." "What, Marcel? What would you have done?" "I'd have thrown you a damn parade."He replies and they both laugh. They give each other a hug. "Okay I though that guys said girls were conufisng." Aurora mumbles.

"Niklaus Mikaelson, my mentor, my savior, my sire. Let's get you, and your friend a drink." Marcel says and he leads them to the bar. "It's good to see you." "It's good to be home. But please tell me the current state of Bourbon Street is not your doing." Klaus says and Marcel laughs. "Somethings gotta draw in the out-of-towners, otherwise we'd all go hungry. So, who's your friend?" Marcel asks, glancing over to Aurora. "I'm Aurora." "Well nice to meet you Aurora."

"I see your friends are day-walkers." "Yeah, yeah, I shared the secret of your daylight ring with a few buddies. Just the inner cricle though, the family." "Tell me, how did you find a witch willing to make daylight rings?" Klaus asks. "I got the witches here wrapped around my finger." He says and Klaus laughs. "Is that so? I'm looking for a witch by ther anme of Jane-Anne Deveraux. Has some business with me." "You're looking for Jane-Anne. Then you probably ought to come with me. Showtime." Marcel says.

"Oh how's your family?" Marcel asks as they continue walking. "Those who live hate me more than ever." "Forget them, if your blood relations let you down, you make your own. You taught me that. And what's mine is yours, always. Even my nightwalker, the riffraff." Marcel says. It's dark outside and the streets are crowded.

"They're hardly subtle, are they?" Klaus asks. "It's the Quarter ain't no such thing as subtle, baby." Marcel says and he whistles, as the crowd cheers. Some vampire ahnd Jane-Anne over to him. "Jane-Anne Deveraux, give it up for Jane-Anne." Marcel yells. "What is he doing?" Aurora whispers to Klaus but he doesn't answer.

"Come on, let's hear it. Jane-Anne Deveraux, you have been accused of the practice of withcraft beyond the bounds fo the rules set forth and enforced by me." MArcel says. "Is this HArry Potter or something?" Aurora whispers to Klaus. "How do you plead?" Marcel asks and he quickly walks over to Klaus. "Oh, was that convincing? I studied law back in the '50s. Hold that thought." Marcel says and he walks back to Jane-Anne. okay this guys is different.

"Seriously J, ticktock. You know the drill, how do you plead?" "I didn't do anything." She says. "That's a lie. You know it, I know it, and you hate that I know it. It drives you witches crazy that I'm aware of your every move, that you can't do magic in the town without getting caught. So, why don't we just cut to the chase, huh? You tell me, what magic you're brewing, I mean tell me. I'll grant you leniency. Hey, I am, after all, a merciul man." "Rot in hell monster." Jane says and the crowd makes fake shocked noises.

"I'll tell you what, I'll give you one more chance.." He says and then cuts her throat. "Or not.." so much for being merciful. Aurora flinches and takes a step back. "Oh my god.." The crowd cheers for Marcel and he smiles. "I think I'm gonna throw up." Aurora says.
