Kim Nam Gil was shocked beyond belief when he was found out that the ambulance which had just entered the emergency room entrance carrying his son who had previously left in good condition but now returned in an unconscious, with Jiemin who was also unconscious with his back burnt and covered in blood!

"What happened...??" Kim Nam Gil asking as he followed the stretcher which carrying Namjoon, then he stared at Ashmir to find out the answer

His eyes glanced nervously at Namjoon's chest which looked bruised

"Jiemin... Jiemin stepped on dr. Kim's chest..." Ashmir stuters, who was no less panicked

"How. how could Jiemin do this, Ashmir...????" Kim Nam Gil stared in disbelief

"He's dying too...!!"

Ashmir took a deep breath, he knew there was no point explaining it to Kim Nam Gil at this time

"I think you should save them both first, sir..."

Kim Nam Gil realized now was not the time to look for answers to what was happening.

"Give me the patient report..!"Kim nam Gil asking to the paramedics

"GCS 15/15, has a high alveolar-arterial gradient but stable cardiovascular,Sir..."

Yonggi, who also happened to be in the emergency room, immediately approached Kim Nam Gil

"What...what happened, uncle...?" Yonggi asked in shock, his eyes widened in shock when he was seeing Jiemin and Namjoon's condition which was so worrying.

"Yonggi... help me treat Jiemin's burns ... I'll check Namjoon's condition... because I'm sure he was experience in blunt heart injury...!"

Yonggi was stunned for a moment, and he realized that this condition was very serious and if it was too late, then Namjoon's life would not be saved...!

"Blunt heart injury....?" Yonggi asking disbelief

Kim nam gil nods

"Blunt pericardial rupture ..!"

Yonggi was really shocked because he knew exactly the risks if someone suffered this very rare injury

Blunt pericardinal rupture is the most severe form of blunt cardiac injury.
This is caused by a direct impact on the chest as well as changes in pressure from compressive forces to the abdomen, which causes laceration of the pericardium on the surface of the diaphragm and pleura. This usually occurs parallel to the phrenic nerve and can cause herniation of the heart into the chest or abdominal cavity and also tearing of large blood vessels, which is then followed by heart attack and death.

"Okay, uncle... I'll check Jiemin's condition..." Yonggi said as he ran to the ward where Jiemin was placed now

Kim Nam Gil stared at his son worriedly while taking off Namjoon's shirt and ordered the medical team to carry out trauma resuscitation, because Namjoon was experiencing tachycardia and experiencing deep oxygen desaturation (70% of 100% inspired oxygen).

Mechanical ventilation was initiated, and chest tubes were inserted bilaterally. There was no loss of much blood from the chest tube, oxygen saturation increased to 90%.

After Namjoon's resuscitation was successful and seeing that his son condition was starting to stabilize, Kim Nam Gil decided to move Namjoon to the radiology devision to carry out a more intensive examination.

But before moving Namjoon to the radiology devision, Kim Nam Gil realize that Namjoon begin to wake up and opening his eyes

"A..appa...." Namjoon called weakly while stared at his appa eyes
