As Jungkook's fame grew, he started to mingle with the wealthy and influential. He attended lavish parties, designer events, and exclusive gatherings. The luxuries and privileges that came with his new status began to dazzle him.
Slowly but surely, Jungkook started to drift away from Taehyung. He would cancel plans with him at the last minute, or forget to call him altogether. Taehyung, who had always been Jungkook's rock, felt like he was losing his best friend.
One day, Taehyung confronted Jungkook about his absence. "Kookie, what's going on? You're always busy with your new friends, but you never have time for me anymore." Jungkook looked taken aback, but Taehyung could see the guilt in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Tae. I just got caught up in everything. I promise I'll make it up to you," Jungkook said, but Taehyung wasn't convinced.
Jungkook's transformation was complete. He had become a stranger to Taehyung, a mere shadow of the person he once was. The luxuries and privileges had consumed him, and he had forgotten the one person who had been there for him through thick and thin.
Taehyung, on the other hand, was heartbroken. He had lost his best friend, his confidant, his soulmate. He tried to reach out to Jungkook, but he was met with indifference, even hostility.
One day, Taehyung saw Jungkook at a high-end fashion show, surrounded by models and celebrities. He tried to approach him, but Jungkook turned his back, pretending not to see him.
Taehyung felt like he had been punched in the gut. He realized that he had lost Jungkook forever, that the person he once knew was gone.
As he walked away, tears streaming down his face, Taehyung whispered to himself, "I loved you, Kookie. I loved you."
One day, Taehyung was walking down the street when he saw Jungkook standing with a group of friends. They were all laughing and joking around, but their attention turned to Taehyung as he approached.
One of Jungkook's friends, a tall, lean guy with a smirk on his face, said, "Well, well, well, look what we have here. The poor boy's still stuck in the past."
The group snickered, and Jungkook smiled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. Taehyung felt a sting from Jungkook's betrayal. He had expected him to defend him, to stand up for him like he always had.
But instead, Jungkook just stood there, smiling, as his friends continued to mock Taehyung. "Hey, poor boy, what's with the clothes? Trying to be fashionable?" another friend chimed in.
Taehyung's face burned with embarrassment and hurt. He tried to speak, but the words caught in his throat. He turned and walked away, leaving Jungkook and his friends to their laughter.
His heart shattered into a million pieces as he heard Jungkook's words. "Guys, let him go. He's poor. He can't afford the expensive clothes."
The group laughed and jeered, and Taehyung felt like he'd been punched in the gut. He couldn't believe that Jungkook, his former best friend, would say something so cruel.
Taehyung tried to hold back tears, but they streamed down his face as he walked away. He felt like he was living in a nightmare, like everything he thought he knew about Jungkook was a lie.
"Wait, Taehyung!" Jungkook called out, but Taehyung didn't turn back. He kept walking, trying to escape the pain and humiliation.
As he turned the corner, Taehyung finally let out a sob. He felt like he'd lost his best friend, like a part of him had died.
