𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 | 𝐊𝐎𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 *ON HOLD*

𝟐𝟑 | 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞

"What was that?" Klaus asks angrily. "Hey.. come walk with me. Witches aren't allowed to do magic here, she broke the rules." "That's a bit unfair, don't you think?" Aurora asks and Marcel glances over to her. "Forbidding witches from doing magic, and then killing them when they do." "Well, that's none of your business." Marcel says with a smile. "You're a witch aren't you?" "not exactly, but it comes close, it's complicated." Aurora replies. 

"I told you I wanted to talk to her." Klaus says. "hey, I'm sorry I got caught up in the show. Those withces they think they still have power in this town. I had to show them that they don't. I never waste an opportunity for a show of force. Another lesson that I learned from you." Jeez Klaus what did you learn this guy?  

"And besides anything that you could've gotten out of her I can find out for you, and I will, I promise." "Well whatever it was doesn't matter anymore, does it?" "Good good, now let's eat all that spilled blood makes me hungry." Marcel says. 

"What are you up to?" Aurora asks. "Why'd you ask that?" "There is no way you're gonna let that go." Aurora says and Klaus chuckles. "you're absolutely right."He says and he grabs a vampire. "Thierry, was it? Anymore Deveraux witches where she came from?"

Sophie turns around. "You're Klaus." "I am, and you're upset. Sophie, isn't it? I assume this is because of what I witnessed with your sister on the corner of Royal and Saint Ann." "Well did you enjoy the show?" She asks. "It was a little melodramatic for my tastes." Klaus says and Aurora chuckles, yeah right she thinks. "What did your sister want with me? Why did Marcel kill her?" Klaus asks.

"I see you brought friends." Sophie says referring to the vampires sitting at the bar. "They're not with me." "They're with Marcel. That's all that matters, I know you built this town, but this is his town now. He killed my sister because she broke the rules. So I talk to you in front of them, I'm next." Sophie says and she walks away.

Klaus walks over to the two vampire and grabs them by the neck. "Are you two gentlemen following us?" He asks. "Marcel said we're your guides." "Oh, he did, did he? He did. Well then let me be exceedingly clear about something, if either of you follow me again you'll do so without the benefit of a spine." Klaus threatens when a blond woman comes our way.

 "Sorry for the wait, If you're here for gumbo I'm about to break your heart, we just ran out." She says. "Your oldest scotch for my two friends here, love." Klaus says as he puts money on the bar. The woman leaves again and grabs the two vampires by the enxk, again. "Marcel wants to know what I'm up to, he can ask me himself.

Aurora decided to follow Sophie, and Klaus left to find Marcel. Aurora walks out of the back door, and she sees Sophie and the two vampires who were following her and Klaus. "Oh, well that sounds like witch business. I'd say.. ask her yourself but I guess you can't seeing as Marcel killed her." Sophie answers and she turns around. "Everything alright here?" Aurora asks making one of the vampires turn to Aurora and the other one grabbing Sophie. The vampire is about to bite Sophie when he gets grabbed by someone.

Suddenly a heart drops on the ground. "What the hell?" Aurora brings out as the other vampire gets grabbed, thrown at a wall and staked through the heart. "Elijah.." Aurora says. "What are you doing here?" "Hello Aurora." Elijah says and then he turns to Sophie. "I'm Elijah, you heard of me?" Okay this guy definitely creeps me out more than Klaus, Aurora thinks. "Yes." Sophie says. "So why don't you tell me what business your family has with my brother?" 

Elijah and Aurora are standing on a balcony, behind Klaus. "Evening Elijah." "Niklaus." "What an entirely unwelcome surprise." Klaus says. "And what an entirely unsurprising welcome." Elijah says and Aurora needs to surpress a chuckle. "Come with me." "I'm not going anywhere, not till I find out who's conspiring against me." Klaus says. "I believe I just found that out for you." Elijah says and Aurora coughs. "We, just found t hat out for you." Elijah corrects and Aurora smile satisfied. 

"What are we doing here?" Klaus asks. "Wanna know what the witches have in store for you? Follow me." Elijah says. "Sophie Deveraux, what is this?" Klaus asks. "He is all yours, proceed." Elijah says. "You know you're famous in this town. Witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus. We know Marcel was nothing but an orphaned street rat until you made him what he is. And now he's out of control, he does what he wnats, he kills who he wants, I'm gonna stop him." Sophie says. "And you're gonna help me."

Klaus laughs. "This is why you brought me here?" He asks Elijah. "Hear her out." Elijah says. "I don't need to hear her out, actually there is not a thing on this earth that would matter enough for me to waste even thirty more seconds of my time. Elijah what madness is this?" "Hear her out." Aurora says. "Klaus." Hayley says as she appraocehs with a witch.

"You need to listen to them." Hayley says and Klaus laughs. "You're all out of your minds if you think some liquor-fueled-one-night-stand, no offense sweetheart, means a thing to me." Klaus says. "Gross, we don't need details. Just, listen Klaus." Aurora says. "Marcel may be able to keep us from pratcising real magic in this town, but as keepers of the balance we know when nature has cooked up something new. For example, I have a special gift of sensing when a girl is pregnant." Sophie says.

Klaus stays quiet. "I know it's impossible." "What are you saying?" "Niklaus, the girl is carrying your child." "No, impossible, vampires cannot procreate." "But werewolves can." Sophie says. "Magic made you a vampire but you were born a werewolf, you're the original hybrid, the first of your kind. And this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes." "You've been with someone else admit it." Klaus yells storming over to Hayley, but Elijah stops him. "Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think I'm carrying some magical miracle baby,  don't you think I'd have fessed up if it wasn't yours?"

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice,the lifes of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie says. "Wait what?" Hayley asks. "Enough of this, if you want Marcel dead I'll do it myself." Elijah says. "No, we can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow and there are rules."

At that Klaus slowly turns his head. "How dare you command me, threaten me with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. I won't hear anymore lies!" Klaus yells. "Niklaus." "Klaus." Elijah and Aurora say at the same time, stopping Klaus. "Listen." Elijah says and Klaus slowly turns to Hayley and focusses. "Kill her and the baby." Klaus says as he walks away. IS this guy being serious. "Oh for god's sake." Aurora mumbles as she followes after Klaus.

Sorry for taking so long but here is a new chapter. We've almost reached the end of act two. This is the last chapter for at least the upcoming two weeks cause I'm leaving today for a holiday.
