Life has been getting better since the day Minju broke up with me, it was a depressing phase of my life. I hate it, especially when she replaced me with my own friend, Karina. Although that remains in the past now, I have moved on and continued living my life. 

Not gonna lie since Minju, I haven't been in a relationship due to my paranoia of getting replaced again. I am afraid to love again, to be exact. There are so many what ifs here and there, it makes me anxious. 

Although love isn't just the only thing in the world anyway that can make a person happy. Right now, I am part of a volleyball team at my senior high school. It's the only thing that makes me feel genuine happiness, aside from my friends. 

Today we are on our way to De La Salle University to compete. I used to study there, but due to personal reasons..I changed schools. I'd rather swallow an entire chunk of wasabi than stay at a school filled with the people I hate haha. 

"We're arriving soon, guys; please prepare!" Coach Jay spoke before turning around to sit back down. 

I currently sit down on the very far end of the bus, beside the window. Giselle sat down next to me, along with Ryujin and Yujin. As per usual, they're arguing over something stupid, "Okay, fine! If I get more girls than you within the 10 minutes we arrive, you better pay me." Ryujin said with a smug smile. Yujin simply scoffed at her and shook her hand. "Deal!"

"Oh please, you two can barely talk to any girls." Giselle butted in with her arms crossed. "What's up with you, Win? You've been quiet since we sat down" Yujin asked in concern as the other two turned their heads to me with the same look of concern.

"Is it because of Minju? She won't be watching anyway, she's a lower level student." Giselle said before I waved my hand dismissively. "What? of course not! I'm just nervous, I just don't want to lose to these Lasallians." I reasoned out. 

"HAHAHA as if you'd lose anyway, we're on a win streak! plus we have you, the best setter out there." Ryujin grinned with enthusiasm as Yujin agreed with her by nodding with the same energy. I sighed and chuckled. "Okay, fair point." I smirked

"Oh getting cocky now? Aish..I really can't with you three." Giselle said with her massaging her temple, earning a laugh from us.

Upon arriving at the school's campus, I felt a wave of nostalgia hit me. It's been awhile since I've stepped foot of this campus. I haven't heard from my ex or her lover since graduation. I grabbed my duffle bag and made my way down the bus,  making my ways towards my teammates I felt a tug behind me. 

I turned around and met with our opponents for today's game, Kim Chaewon. La Salle's libero, also a friend of mine. "Hi Winwin!" She greeted and beamed a smile. "Hi Chae, it's been awhile"

"Mhm! I missed you, I'm here to welcome you back aaannddd to escort you and your team to the gym. Believe it or not, we have a lot of audience today!" She jumped in excitement before telling the others to follow her, She also dragged me with her by pulling the strap of my bag.
